The pizza is fantastic! I rank it right up with the big 3 in New Haven. So good that I would have to sit down and compare it directly to let’s say Pepe’s to determine which is better. It’s inside a fantastic, and quite large sportsy bar with plenty of room for families.
Service was sub par, the young lady at the front was watching something on her phone and did not even acknowledge our presence. Thankfully the young man who was cooking came over and took our order.
If this was my place, she would be fired. But it’s not, so I won’t hurt their rating due to her poor judgement.
Again pizza is better than anything within several towns.
It’s a Friday evening dinner time and this place is steady but not crowded.

I tried the pizza and wings at the Berlin location and what an amazing tasty pizza I had. I got sausage on it and was so delicious. I also have tried the Pizza from the Newington location as well and it is really good to. I will only order pizza from this place from now on when I get pizza because I have finally found a spot that makes it perfect. Definitely give them a 5 star ⭐ and above rating and if you have not third their pizza yet then you don’t know how much you are missing out on such a amazing pie. Great job making a pizza I finally enjoy. The wings are also amazing as well so it’s a must try them as well.

We picked up takeout from Square Peg pizza for dinner. A friend that told us about it. It was definitely Neapolitan style of pizza and absolutely delicious! We ended up getting the margarita pizza and adding caramelized onions to the pepperoni pizza, which was an amazing move. They are located inside the Truck Bar which we also have never been into. Such a cool place with indoor cornhole, a game room, and a bar. The guy who was working on the counter mentioned that they also have live bands on Friday and Saturday nights. We will be back!

The manager here is the best. He’s super overworked but he’s always trying to make sure everyone has the best experience they can and feels looked after. The food is always crazy fresh and so good. The pizza is pretty pricey, so it’s definitely a treat, but you’d be hard pressed to find a tastier pizza.

I been a customer for a long time at Berlin square peg I was there last 1/23/26 Friday evening and have the worst service ever. I order pizza and it was burnt. I went to speak with the cook to claim and he was on his cell phone arguing with someone and ignored me. When I finally talk to him he was rude and stated that I have to wait because he have orders in front of me and the guidelines in CT are a 45 minutes wait anyway which I dont know what that means… It was very dissappointing. As a customer I should be a priority. I would like someone to take care of this situation.

For the amount of money paid for this pizza. I expected something really good. Pizza was burned which is expected with coal fire, but holy cow was this extra crispy with a burn taste throughout the slice. Definitely not worth its price at all. There are too many pizza places that make a much better slice for the price or below the price. When you’ve been drinking, everything tastes good, this didn’t, but hunger needs to be satisfied. I don’t know what people are talking about saying this pizza is good. Go find better pizza. It’s out there I promise.

Just paid $30 for a small spicy margarita pizza and a salad. The pizza is probably the size of a slice or two where l you would yet anywhere else not happy at all the food is good, just an extremely small potion for a big price.

Ordered a cheese pizza that was phenomenal. My type of pie for sure. Light and crispy, but still with a good amount of chew in the crust, and a very slight char similar to a good new haven style pie. Overall really well balanced. However, their specialty pies i ordered were a tad underdone for my liking. Great pie, just lacks a little consistency.
