I got the urge to come here for the cappuccino cooler. It certainly was hot enough for it. I remember when this place was cash-only; so I’m glad to see they updated their systems. I give the cooler a solid 5 out of 10. Not that strong of a coffee flavor, but that’s fine seeing as this place is known for the ice cream. Which I have had in a dish and a blizzard. The staff is nice as well.

Stopped in and got a banana split and a turtle cheesecake sundae. The split was huge and definitely great for two people. The sundae was good. I’m not sure what the added cheesecake flavoring was but I got a big scoop of it in one bite. I thought the ice cream itself was going to be cheesecake or maybe mixed into the vanilla but it was just added on top. Would go back to get a dipped cone and you can’t beat the prices.

Essentially the same as it was decades ago: delicious! Has standard soft-serve ice cream options, milkshakes, and mixes. Just remember to take cash and your visit on a hot summer day will be a treasured memory.

Ice cream (2 cups of vanilla, 1 chocolate dipped & 1 cherry dipped) was good, staff was friendly, the outdoor seating was relatively clean (slightly sticky) & the ground free of trash. Ample parking for the size, but you’re basically going onto a speed bump or through a hole to get into it.

An Elizabeth City Favorite! My wife is from here and has fond memories of going here as a kid. Such a pleasure to be able to take our kids here 35 years later. Can go wrong with any ice cream pick! Great dipped cones!

Delicious! I got a shaved ice cream which is ice cream between two layers of shaved ice (I think it’s two layers? It may just be the top layer is shaved ice. By the time I got to the bottom of this massive thing it was too melted to be sure), and the ratio of shaved ice to ice cream is the only thing I didn’t enjoy. Took me ages to get to the ice cream. The flavour (Pina Colada shaved ice and vanilla ice cream) was excellent though, and exactly what I needed after a long hot day.

Must have lost a lot at the beach to of doubled the prices on everything. Opened a store at the beach not long ago and is now a taco bell. Gotta replace those millions with their ice cream prices as well as vans pizza across the street. What a shame.

Got softserve choc/vanil twist in a waffel cone. They ddin’t put so much in the cone it turns into a big mess like alot of places do.And it was really good.
