La Plaza Fiesta is a great spot if you’re craving Mexican food in a lively, welcoming setting. The atmosphere is vibrant and inviting, with plenty of comfortable dining space that makes it perfect for both casual meals and group outings.
For food, I ordered the street tacos and the birria pizza. The tacos were flavorful, with well-seasoned meat ,and they came with a side of rice and beans. While they were enjoyable as is, a touch of feta cheese or fajita peppers would have taken them to the next level. The birria pizza, however, rich in flavor, and paired with a delicious consommé that added depth and made every bite even better.
To drink, I tried the frozen Classic Mango margarita and the Coco Loco margarita. Both were refreshing and smooth, though I did wish the drink menu included prices for better transparency.
Overall, La Plaza Fiesta delivered a very enjoyable dining experience. The staff was fast, friendly, and attentive, and the food and atmosphere made it a place I’d happily visit again.

I have eaten here a couple of hand fulls of times. I rarely get the same thing twice and everything has always been delicious! Careful of the margarita flights.. they don’t look like a lot but you definitely feel it after! Fast, friendly service and a large variety of offerings.

Saw the reviews and needed to try. Very Welcoming and was sat immediately. Cocktails are tasty. Free chips with salsa & Mexican ranch. Our plates were served super quick & hot. Flavors were amazing. I got lemon/lime chicken made gluten-free, was fantastic & washed it down with a classic margarita! Service was great, Jaun took care of us! Prices are worth it!

This non alcoholic Margarita was excellent!!! Otherwise the food was rather ordinary and could have used more seasoning/flavor. If you are looking for a basic Mexican restaurant it is good but if you are looking for more maybe not so much.

Great place for Mexican cuisine. Seating is a little snug but the food and drinks are excellent. Prices are competitive with anything else in the area.

Felt the ✨️immaculate vibes✨️ as soon as I walked in. They kept the chips and salsa coming, while we waited on our delicious and genuine Mexican meals. Quick service. We had a party of eight, and although it was a full house on a Friday evening, they had a table ready by the time the rest of my group arrived. Tasty and beautiful drinks. They even made a special non-alcoholic version for my niece. Friendly and fun staff. Take your family members for their birthday, you’ll have a blast!

The food was great but the staff was on point! I’ve said staff is friendly in many of my reviews but they earned the 5 stars and an extra thumbs up here. So friendly but nice and made me smile just about every time they came around.
They were generous with the queso on the food so if you’re into that, it’s super yummy! Veggies that accompanied my cowboy fajita were fresh and the quality and quantity were a good match. Husband said the quesadilla was very big and filling. As we were leaving, they said they would see us tomorrow and no lie, we’ve thought about going back two days in a row!

I stopped in for the first time this evening to La Plaza Fiesta and ordered the #2 combination.
The taco was crispy, the ground beef was flavorful, and was quite tasty.
The beef enchilada was also very flavorful, both the meat and the sauce on top were yummy.
The tamale was not as flavorful as the taco and enchilada but was still good.
The service here is excellent, and they make sure you are well taken care of.
The decor is modern, bright, and inviting. This place is very popular with the locals and is busy most of the time.
Overall, La Plaza Fiesta has great service and food, and you should check them out if you haven’t already.

Very good food!! But… if I have one complaint, I don’t like that it’s the only restaurant charging an extra 7.2% tax when in Sioux Falls, Dakota, you pay 6.2%.
This includes food, which could be considered consumer abuse.

Felt rushed. Hadn’t hard sat down, or looked at the drink menu, when the waiter was there to take a drink order. Delivery time on the food was prompt. Finishing up our meal, had to flag someone to get a couple to-go boxes. We hardly slid our meal in the box, and waiter was again there, taking our plates, came right back and took our drinks and chips away – neither was empty, we were still talking and finishing the drink. At the time of night, there were many available booths/tables, so it wasn’t that they were extremely busy. But is was clear they wanted us to leave.
