Great place to hangout. My wife and I take the kids the first Sunday of every month to get Scratch Cookery chicken sandwiches. The beer selection is only second to Pour Me Taproom in Gilroy. We did the trivia nights for a while until we got tired of losing, or just tired (staying out late is for the younger crowd). Cool place to be on a sunny Sunday.

Great spot with fun trivia but there are about 10 children running around playing games and screaming at what is essentially a bar. Not the place to bring your kids, especially if you don’t want to supervise them. Parents need to do better, but I have a hard time enjoying a beer after work in this environment. Great beer, great service otherwise.

Note, no stars for food because they (technically) don’t serve any, but they have a rotating list of food trucks depending on the day that I’ve heard very good things about.

Love this spot, it’s just about everything I could ask for in a taproom/beer bar. Cool decor, massive selection on tap as well as several refrigerators worth of cans, indoor and outdoor seating(pretty sure they have heat lamps but don’t quote me on that).

Stopped by last weekend when the missus was at a family BBQ; I went with some friends years ago but I don’t go out in MH much and I had almost forgot about because it’s a little tucked away and I’m a hermit.

Had I remembered the food truck situation I would have just ate there too but if you happen to be there and the cuisine of the day isn’t your style there’s plenty of good food in walking distance (I was eating some Mr.Falafel but I also strongly recommend Trail Dust BBQ).

Cool vibes all around and I managed to have a few conversations despite my introveredness. Also no hipster nonsense you occasionally see in places like T.R.S.A.H. For example, I noticed they had an Underburg sign(aromatic bitters similar to Fernet or Jaeger usually taken after a meal as a digestiv) and so I had to get one, but I had never seen them served outside of the Big Sur Taphouse.

Asked the gent serving me if Underberg was a common staple with taphouses/microbreweries and he said something to the effect of “Almost annoyingly so”.

Nice. Definitely my favorite bar in town, just wish they were open a wee bit later but I’m a night owl and there just isn’t anything else like it open till 1-2 but it’s well worth it. You can get a sip if you are not sure about a particular drink and overall the pricing is super reasonable, I was pleasantly surprised when I closed out my tab.

Next time I’ll definitely be trying whatever food truck is in attendance. Whenever the mood strikes and you are going to go to some corporate chain or a club up north go support a local business instead.

5/5 would bring someone from out of town

Great beer selection – but just noticed once again they have overcharged us. This is the 3rd time we’ve gone there and had either an ‘extra’ beer added to our tab or in this case, they charged us twice for the beer we drank onsite – once with the cans we bought to go home (and we have the receipt for this) and then I just noticed on my credit card statement they also put through a second charge for just the beer we drank. They should have only run through the charge ONCE when we settled up to leave. We had just one open tab with one bartender so it wasn’t a matter of tabs getting mixed up. Do they just hope people don’t notice? As this can’t be happening only to us. Very suspicious given the previous issues with being overcharged. Pay cash or watch out fellow beer drinkers! And funny enough – the friends we brought with us this last time we warned to watch out for ‘extra’ charges….talk about foreshadowing. Ugh. I need a beer now. .

Lots of draft beer selections from Bay Area breweries. Family and pet friendly—a great place to hang out! Plus, they have some arcade machines on site, which is a big bonus.

Best thing about Running Shop is their beer selection – both on tap and to take home. The thing that makes them unique is they allow you to mix cans rather than having to take a four pack of the same beer. Craft beer is so expensive already, buying four cans of something you’re not sure you’ll like? Not here!

While there is seating indoors and out, this place gets HOPPING in the evenings and on weekends! The line to order a beer can get long but the bartenders work fast. They also have between fifty and eighty six beers on tap, depending on inventory – beers of all styles I might add. You can always see their current menu on the app Untappd.

They have two gender neutral, single person bathrooms that I have yet to see less than clean. They have some swag if you decide you want to give them some free advertising. Kids and pets are welcome and there is usually a food truck available during dinnertime hours.

Parking can be tough during peak hours as they don’t have a dedicated parking lot, but it’s worth the short walk if required.

Family & Pet Friendly place to grab a beer and just hang out. They have a huge selection of beers from different Northern California Breweries. Their first come first serve indoor & outdoor space provides a chill, relaxing, & fun environment. They have a small game room area & local food trucks – check their instagram schedule. The staff was great; attentive & helpful when deciding what beer to order. I’m coming back soon!
