La Flor Pupusas Grill is near to my work. I like pupusas. I had my lunch here many times. The burritos are very good here too!

The owner is amiable, and I like the feeling of the dining room. I feel I’m having lunch at a little restaurant in El Salvador. The pupusas are delicious!

The absolute best Central American food I’ve ever had. The plantains were perfectly ripe and fried. The Pupusas were fresh and delicious. The hot sauce is not a joke and it provides a spicy contrast along with the sour encurtido. There is a bit of a wait but it’s well worth it. Great customer service. Can’t wait to come back! 10/10.

So far all I’ve had was the pupusa and it’s phenomenal. They make it fresh so grab a chair it’s gonna take 15 to 20 minutes, which is all good with me. You can get the cornflower or you can get the rice flour if you’re gonna get the rice flour eat it fresh because it hardens up over time. I get the pork cheese and bean and cheese. It does not miss.

I went to La Flor’s for the first time today (I’ve never had Salvadoran food before) and it was very good. I ordered a Bean and Cheese Pupusas and Jalapeño and Cheese Pupusas. It was fantastic. Best of all, incredibly cheap at $3 each! Can’t wait to come again.

Pupusa and tacos are Hella good.

Good: ordered jalapeño/cheese and pork/cheese pupusas with a pork taco for dine in.
Pupusas were hella good, perfect flavors, and perfect consistency with masa.
The pork taco much exceeded my expectations. Flavor was on the spot. Queso fresco gave it the extra freshness too.

Service: order at the counter. Although this wasn’t a full service restaurant, the staff were attentive, welcoming, responsive, and just really kind.

Environment: cute and cozy little spot but enough space to bring a medium sized group. Still felt homie.

Great spot. Although they’re known for the pupusas, don’t sleep on the Mexican food!

Always 5 stars for the FOOD. I stop here every time I come to Sacramento to visit family. They’ve had the same two staff members for 10+ years. The quality is good. The taste is consistently delicious.

My family has been looking for a new pupuseria for a while now since our favorite one in San Francisco closed. We have been trying new restaurants for a year and we finally found it!

The service was great, the food was delicious!
I’ve seen previous post about the price but paying $3.25 for a Pupusa that is huge and full of chicharon and cheese is worth it. The horchata is superb. The empanadas were out of this world! Both beans and leche poliada. The curtido was perfect!

The restaurant itself is small and it probably is best if you go in after lunch and prior to the diner hour as the few tables they have fill up quickly.

To chime in on the wait time comment below, it took us 20 minutes to get our 15 Pupusas and 2 orders of empanadas. Pupusas are thicker then just your plain paper thin tortillas and they will take longer to cook but totally worth the wait.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. Our family will definately be back soon.

Not many pupusa places around. They let you know when you order its about a 20 min wait because they are handmade fresh and delicious

Came to this place for the first time. And it’s good! We had the pork, mixed and cheese pupusas. They are quite tastey. Price is reasonable. Small, but clean place to eat. Another good place to eat.
