Café on 10th was a lovely surprise! My husband’s family grew up in Oakdale, & we visit throughout the year. We were only aware of one place to eat, so I never thought this gem existed! The menu has a good variety, including many healthy choices. I was about to order the spinach salad with grilled shrimp, & then our sweet waitress suggested the special, of grilled chicken with mushroom & cheese, stuffed potato casserole, & seasoned green beans, & I was sold! Tender & fancifully flavored, the food was a hit. A pretty place to host parties, or a great place to meet friends.

I wish I were writing a review raving about how good our meal was but unfortunately, we were denied service. We walked in to get a table at 12:30 pm and were told by staff at front counter that they were closed. Tables were still occupied and a line was formed at the counter to PLACE to go orders and to pick up orders. We questioned why because their business hours say they are open until 1:00. We were told kitchen staff needed to get out of there early but yet they were still accepting to go orders???? If someone can make that make sense I would appreciate it. We were not treated with any kind of respect and actually felt like we were not wanted there.

The mushrooms were so good MINUS whatever was spicy in them. Great price, great amount, the spice I NEVER EXPECTED neither did the children …including in the ranch! I’d order again if the spice WAS NOT there! Unfortunately, the children were not able to eat them! Seasoning DOESN’T GO IN EVERYTHING!Not everyone likes what is called seasoning especially CHILDREN!

We stopped in this place after finding it online. Oh what a great place!! Service was amazing, our server was Morgan. We met the owner who was so friendly. Food was awesome!! All homemade, down to the salad dressings and croutons! Food was delicious and the portions were huge!

Food was delicious, staff were very friendly, & customer service was top tier! I got home, my order wasn’t complete but they went above & beyond to make up for it. The salad was delicious. I got mine w the fried ckn, that & the homemade croutons gave the salad plenty of flavor & a little bit of spice. The chseburger was also really good & the fries were crisp & well seasoned. Either would’ve been a big enough portion of food but my eyes were bigger than my stomach tod.

Absolute must if you are in the area. Nice dining room and atmosphere. Staff is very polite and the service was excellent. And the food was amazing. Everything is homemade. Everything. Even the croutons and salad dressing. We had grilled chicken salad and burger and they did not disappoint. Also got some cupcakes that were as good or better than any I’ve had. Overall, I am shocked at how good this place was. Not trying to knock the town of Oakdale (never been there before today) but this place was quite unexpected. Overall, this place is hands down the best restaurant in the area and I don’t even need to check out the competition. No doubt about it, this place deserves its 5 star rating.
