Favorite casual spot to drink and eat on the island – location is a bit hidden with no clear sign but it’s right in the heart of the historic downtown. Great vibe from the bar tucked under a large tree.

Thoroughly enjoyed finding this little hidden gem, The Tree Bar. The QQ Bolognese pasta drew me in, and it rivaled what I’ve ordered in Bologna Italy! (I wish I had photographed the amazing sauce before I devoured it! )

Food was delcious!
We had the scallops casino, tuna tartare, short ribs and ceviche.
All was very fresh, decadent and presentatiom was lovely. The service was great too, everyone was very attentive.

Didn’t eat here but the food looked good. The bar vibe was great and the bar tenders were attentive and cool. Two thumbs up on setting and energy!

The food was good and so we’re the drinks. The service was bad. We waited quite a while for our server to return to get a second round. Watched one tabke leave because they could but get initially waited on. It wasn’t a busy night could see a large grid of servers hanging out outside from our table. Had to pass them to go to the bathroom. Probably wouldn’t go back especially since they wouldn’t let us just order drinks had to order a bit of food as well.

4 party’s from 2 to 6 came in after us . They received their food before us.
Terrible.
Never come here . Took 15 minutes to get a menu.
We waited a hour for our food.
Sad.

Obnoxious bouncer. Watched him deny entry to a guy in front of me in line because he was young looking. This guy had a valid ID and was clearly over 21. I’m almost forty. I just can’t stand power-addicted jerks who push people around because they can. We took our business elsewhere.

It’s fantastic. The end. Small, often crowded, but it’s a bar….AROUND A TREE. Pretty straight forward. Friendly staff, solid drinks and food from Town, if ya want.

Fantastic vide and delicious food at this Nantucet hideaway..nestled in the heart of town. We ate outside on this God-kissed day. Share the Nantucket roll (shrimp tempura, cream cheese and avocado inside with salmon and sweet &spicy sauce on top) then had a poke bowl and fish and chips with truffle fries. Single con was poke bowl was missing rice which would have offset the heat from the fresh jalapeño. Otherwise everything was excellent (even the poke bowl). Definitely get the truffle fries!
