My family and I ate here for dinner. The staff was not accommodating. The food they served was not as good as before. The southern pulled pork sandwich tasted like plastic and chemicals, it was so bland. We also ordered lemon pepper pit smoked wings. The lemon sauce tasted very artificial and the chicken was so dry. I think there are more better restaurants out there.

Hard to criticize a chain with so many locations, but I’ll do my best. Fat makes meat tasty and juicy. That said, 25% of my brisket sandwich was fat.
Everything from the bun to the sauce to the coleslaw was very sweet. Too much so I would say.
The online ordering process felt like I was flying Spirit Airlines. Unusually cumbersome and long-winded just to order a sandwich.
The staff was pleasant enough and they made the most out of their small retail space.
One commendable item was their environmentally friendly packaging.
I won’t be back.

I had a fantastic experience at Dickey’s Barbecue Pit! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They took the time to explain the menu, offered helpful suggestions, and made sure my order was exactly how I wanted it. The service was fast, efficient, and full of genuine Southern hospitality. You can really tell they care about their customers. I’ll definitely be coming back—not just for the delicious barbecue, but for the great service too! Stop in and enjoy!

Instead of going for the cheap special, I went for the brisket sandwich.
As one of the previous posters mentioned I understand fat makes meat delicious but my first and second mouthful – pure fat. I thought it was personal until I read that. Apparently this is the way it’s prepared so once I got to the meat, it was delicious as were the accoutrements.
I even stuffed a tip in the jar, despite not being prompted to do so on the credit card payment.
Definitely recommend this place but just beware of what you’re going to get. If you order the brisket sandwich, I’m not used to that much fat.

Don’t order. Used to get their smoked wings until they gave us plain, bland, tough, non-smoked wings twice in a row. Server said that when they run out of smoked wings they just serve regular plain wings. Well that’s not what we paid $50 for!!!
They could have at least called or cancelled the order like other restaurants do. So disappointed :-/

Girl who worked the register at 8pm on November 1st is hella unfriendly. It was like talking to a frowning wall. She negatively impacted my group but the food was decent. Sauce was on point. But the sides were surprisingly small, especially for the price. I think some customer service training and larger portions would elevate this place to 4-5 stars.

Ordered a combo plate. The food was decent but no BBQ sauce or cutlery provided. The cashier had an open, partially eaten Mexican food plate next to the cash register. Edit 110325: Quality of food and service has improved but cashiers continue to forget basics like BBQ sauce in to go orders. I check them before I leave. Will change review as justified.

They promote an $8.99 combo meal, but when I show up, they act completely confused and tell me it’s online ordering only. So I try to order online, standing right there – only customer in the store. Clicking the $8.99 promotional deal gives me a bill of nearly $20! Nothing they can do – either pay $20 for your $8 sandwich, or go somewhere else. Have been dying to try them ever since they opened up, but I guess this is just another blasé location with employees that don’t actually know what they’re doing.

I ordered macaroni a side brisket combo sandwich I put macaroni in my sandwich got pickles onions and spicy barbecue sauce you can taste the small char areas of the meat gives it a smoked flavor mixed with all the ingredients combined you get a mouthfuls of flavors first time trying and I loved it the flavor of the brisket with the bbq delicious
