This was the best experience of our week when we stayed at Cape May. We spent the last day in Wildwood and we were absolutely amazed not only by the delicious food prepared for us, but by the attentiveness of all of the staff, the front end manager Diana, I believe is her name, and simply every single person that was there. The food was absolutely amazing as you’ll see in the photos below the portions were perfect and we left absolutely satisfied. We will definitely be making sure that we come back every time we are down this way. Thank you so much for the excellent service

What a wonderful addition to the Wildwood food scene! The owners and staff are super friendly and attentive. And the food… absolutely delish.

They bring you a complimentary gazpacho shooter that is a refreshing pallette cleanser. We started with the SOL salad – a blend of intriguing tastes between the roasted pablano, pickled watermelon, and walnut crunch. I had the whole fried red snapper – cooked to perfection and the breading was flavorful with a slight kick. My husband had the pernil asada – not the shredded pernil you might expect, but moist with a unique flavorful rub. The bread pudding has the flavor and texture of a blueberry corn muffin – very yummy, but needed more of a sauce to moisten it up.

FYI that SOL is BYO, but they have the fixing to turn your wine into sangria. They also have local Jersey wine bottles for purchase. We got the chardonnay, and were pleasantly surprised by the quality.

Overall, we were very happy with our experience at SOL. Highly recommend you support this new small business.

I was so excited to go here for my birthday two weeks ago, I had my bday meal planned out and everything. I get out of my Uber, walk inside, and it is now an Italian restaurant . Yet, as I was standing in the restaurant, searching Google, it is still telling me I am standing inside of Sol. The website still says this restaurant is open, IT IS NOT!!!! You guys really need to update this information. It was such a huge disappointment! Will attach photos of my Italian dinner!

There is no other Latin American cuisine like this around and I wish I lived closer to this area!! This is certainly a 5 star restaurant in my book and is a must go place to dine. When you enter the restaurant you instantly feel welcomed, you’ll love the placard sign welcoming Walk-ins too (see photo). The restaurant decor is simple, understated but very elegant; it is not gimmicky at all. The place is very clean and the bathrooms are very well maintained. The wait staff is so very polite, friendly and quick with your requests/needs. Now for the Food! We had a party of five and we all ordered different items and we all couldn’t stop raving about the food. The food presentation, whether it was an appetizer or your meal, is what you’d expect to see in a very expensive, high society, fine dinning Michelin rated restaurant. If I worked for the Michelin Guide, I’d recommend this restaurant for it’s highest 3-star rating. For appetizers we placed 2 orders of the Sorullos (corn fritters) and 2 orders of the Chicken Empanadas, and all we could say was “WOW, just WOW!!” I ordered the Grilled Churrasco, medium-rare and it came out perfectly as requested! It was tender and juicy throughout the entire skirt steak. The Spanish rice was deliciously flavorful and the plantains, OMG, so tender that they just melt in your mouth (best I’ve ever had and I’ve had quite a lot over the years). Whether you are a local or from out of Town this is a reasonably priced, must visit establishment and I wish them all the success because it’s a keeper in my book!
