The worst Italian food EVER. If you want Chef Boyardee dumped onto your plate and microwaved, this is your place.

None of us had an edible meal. The white zin was old and pink, definitely expired box wine. The bruschetta with FRESH mozzie had melted store bought sliced mozz, not fresh.

The chicken fiorentina was gross. Zero flavor. No herbs, not even salt. Who serves chicken with a steak knife?? $25

The stuffed shells tasted like canned tomato sauce with zero seasoning. $23

The chicken rolantini was just gross. Tomato sauce and chicken. Overcooked. Flavorless. Disgusting.

Oh, and they can’t even bother making their own balsamic reduction. We were treated to a plastic, store-bought, almost empty bottle to put on our appetizer, which we also didn’t finish. Just pure laziness.

Front of the house was wonderful, but when you walk in and see six wait staff just sitting in a booth, you have to wonder. There was only six customers, the TVs are on silent, there is ZERO noise.

The back of the house needs to learn about oregano, basil, pine nuts, salt, thyme, and fresh versus store bought.

Martinis were great!!

We had the best time!!!
This was our first time at Mama’s and we came to see Shelli and Will play and we had so much fun. We were celebrating my Uncle’s birthday and they even let us put his cake on a booth somewhere so we could surprise him.
Jules was our server and she was AMAZING!!! She was so kind and made sure we got everything we needed. We had a large party and she was so patient with us.

We will definitely be back!!!

I just picked up my pizza from mama Lucia in Dunkirk MD. First off I got three different prices for my order total which was two orders of wings and a pizza which was $60. The pizza is sloppily thrown together as you’ll see in the photo attached. The customer service at this location is beyond garbage if I could give them -5 stars that’s what they would rate. I will never go back to this place and I would encourage everybody that is looking to go here. Try La Bella Italiano in friendship Much better pricing better pizza all the way around a better experience there. As a veteran I will be sure to pass my experience with the local Vet groups as well.

So I enjoy a good pizza especially one that is still really good once I get home with it. It was as good as I was hoping it would be. I called it in and it was ready when I got there. The service was very friendly and while it was pretty late, it was an enjoyable quick experience.

This place is always amazing! I got the fettuccini mediterreano and my fiancé got the veal scallopini. We each got a garden salad with the house Italian dressing. The dressing is made in house and we love the tang to it. The bread here is always crusty on the outside with a soft center – perfect Italian bread. I can’t ever get enough so we always ask for some to go and they bring it out in a paper bag nice and hot! The fettuccini dish has large shrimp, scallops, and lump crabmeat. The veal scallopini has three veal filets with lump crabmeat and mushrooms. The seafood in my fettuccine dish was all cooked to perfection! I hate overcooked seafood and I never have to worry about that here. The sauce for both is creamy and luxurious without being too heavy. I haven’t asked, but I’m pretty sure the pasta is made in house. It’s always the perfect consistency and never gummy or overcooked. What’s even better than the food being just amazing is that each of us left full and with enough leftovers for another meal! We absolutely love this Calvert County staple and 100% recommend!

Very unfortunate experience

Food was really yucky
The entrees I got were the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, & the Tortilini. They were all quite oily, extremely bland (didn’t even have pepper on it…),and to top it off gave me an upset stomach.

Appetizers I got were bruchetta, and garlic bread, putting rubbery cheese onto either was extra, and the garlic bread was also bland, if I had my eyes closed I would’ve mistaken it for buttered toast.

The complimentary bread they gave to us didn’t even come fully cut, nor with olive oil, but instead with pre-packaged butter packets (at least it was real butter).
Not to mention the price did not at all match the quality of the dishes in the slightest.

Service was off putting but I don’t blame the servers
Although they did try to charge my friend for a dish she took one bite of before sending back. (Same issues as before.)

Had Coffee house-Esque paintings up and overall aesthetic was confusing, especially for a Italian restaurant.

It took a while to get our food, something that while I don’t usually concern myself about, it still added to the disdain of the meal/experience.

Very much felt like a rural town restaurant that people eat at just for the sake of it being the only place available.

I don’t recommend going here at all, a microwave TV dinner would genuinely be better tasting and more cost effective.

Food was delicious and the service was friendly and fast. Early afternoon on a Thursday so there was plenty of seating available. The Crab imperial stuffed salmon w/ angel hair pasta and side salad was amazing. The mussels caprese was absolutely delicious. The bread came out hot and fresh. Got dessert and the Carmel granny apple pie with vanilla ice cream wasn’t he perfect balance of hot and cold gooey goodness.

This was my first time trying this restaurant, and I was craving crab dip so that’s the only food item I tried. While I was waiting for my food I ordered a drink and it was strong but still tasted okay. The crab dip was good. I noticed they added some tomato, which makes it a little different which I appreciate but it was not my ultimate favorite. the bread that came with it was SO good. I’m definitely willing to try it again and try some pasta this time.

The food is very good. The service is awful. We’ve been down twice in the last couple of months and waited both times for a hostess to seat us and another 15 minutes before a server comes to your table. Both times the restaurant was not busy at all. Our last experience we set for at least 10 minutes. Another table came in and immediately was waited on. When I approached the hostess about that, she said we forgot about you. So we are going to return the favor and forget about them.
