What an amazing meal. We started with the Gouda Fritters, which were wonderful. My wife had the filet with Brussels and Fingerling potatoes; I had the chicken with risotto. From start to finish, every bite exceeded our expectations. Everything was cooked to perfection. We finished with the Butterscotch Pot de Crème, which topped off the night. If you’re in Dahlonega, you must go.

Best experience of the entire trip. Wonderful views, kind and friendly staff, and best food I’ve had in a long time. Attended on Saturday, 12-13-25 at 5 pm. Restaurant did not feel crowded. Ordered the Gouda cheese nuggets, chicken w/ risotto, and Asian beef strip dish. I have no points of improvement whatsoever. This was top notch.

I live in Dahlonega and I have tried all the major, well known restaurants in town and have got to say this is the best food hands down in all of Dahlonega! I was so pleasantly surprised with the quality and tastiness. I had the filet minion and it was cooked perfectly, and was super tender. My boyfriend got a chicken dish with the best risotto I’ve ever had…just super impressed! 10/10

We had a lovely dinner at White Oaks Bistro! The food was excellent, the owner was very friendly and the ambiance was intimate. I loved that it wasn’t noisy and the million dollar view alone was worth going. It is a smaller restaurant so I recommend making reservations. We will definitely be coming back!

We had an amazing time at White Oaks Bistro! The overall atmosphere, setting and view are beautiful! They have multiple seating options and a back deck with mountain overlook scenes. The food was very delicious! We had the White Oaks Burger and the White Oaks Salad with grilled chicken. Both were very good, but the Farmer and Forger Flatbread we had as an appetizer was easily the best food option we tried! The mushroom and arugula pairing was AMAZING! We tried the gin and the tequila cocktails and enjoyed both. Lastly, they gave us their warm cookie and homemade ice cream as a gift for my wife’s birthday! The staff was very attentive and friendly.
My only suggestion would be to add a few dinner plate entrees instead of just sandwiches and salads. It is probably a better lunch over dinner option with the every day menu.
This is an amazing option for locals and tourists alike! Give them a try – you won’t regret it!

My Fiancé and I had just finished a local hike and happen to stumble upon this restaurant on google search. This was the perfect find! It was right after sunset and you could still see the silhouette of the mountains out of their dining window. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. All of the food ordered came out evenly paced and it was amazing! She had the Filet Mignon and I had the Blackened Salmon. This is a hidden gem we look forward to going to again when we are in Dahlonega!

I booked the Bistro for my son’s rehearsal dinner. I had never planned anything like this and from two hours away I was clueless. Brittany helped me through entire process. She answered all of my questions and emailed me quickly with enough detail it answered the questions I had not thought of. The night of the rehearsal, we showed up, it was a beautiful venue with mountain views, and scenic deck space that was perfect for pictures. Claire approached me and gave me details for events of the evening and was there anytime I had a question. She was so helpful. The entire staff was warm and welcoming as was the owner. The food was incredible and even today as all recover the wedding held at another venue, the Bride’s family was still complimenting me on the rehearsal venues food, vibe and what a good job I had done planning it. I did nothing!! They did it all for me. I can’t say enough about what a great experience this was for us all. And did I mention the food was delicious!!! Thank you for being a part of our beautiful wedding weekend.

My wife and I had dinner at the White Oaks Bistro while visiting Dahlonega for our 14th wedding anniversary . The food, service and atmosphere were all amazing. The food and the mountain view made for a great dinner. I had the White Oaks burger and my wife had the shrimp tacos, and finished it off with the pistachio ice cream; all were excellent.
