Solid restaurant serving American food at reasonable prices and in generous portions. Been a customer since Claim Company was at Northbrook Court and can confidently say it is consistently good. Not amazing, but good. During my latest visit, had pretzel bites and chicken cheese wraps to start. Came out piping hot and fresh, just not much flavor at least with regard to the wraps (although the accompanying sauces compensated well). For my entree, ordered a turkey burger, customized with various ingredients. Delicious. Cooked very well. Only knock was lettuce it came with was clearly wilted. Our server was meh, not the most polished or attentive (had to ask for refills of water, for example). Overall, good choice if in the mood for casual American fare and I look forward to returning.

I’d never been to The Claim Company before—it’s usually not my kind of spot. But I have to say, I’d absolutely go back. The service was impeccable, and the food was prepared and served with care. Everything came out hot, fresh, and exactly as ordered. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that pleasantly surprised me.

We dined twice this week and enjoyed the steak deal. Food was excellent, servers excellent, but we were charged for 4 bills! Do not use your credit card to make payment. Now we are out $169 because of two chargers for meals we did not eat. No help from manager on the phone. Pay cash only!

Saw a Facebook video for The Claim Company of Northbrook a few years ago, while I never saved the restaurant to any list, it would sporadically come back to me when I looked at the map. I can’t remember what menu item the video featured, but if I had to guess, I guess it was for their burger menu and chicken wings.
Anyways, fast forward to May of 2025 when I made my visit to TCCoN and ordered both a burger and wings.
The menu was very large, like an old fashioned dinner restaurant menu with multiple pages. One page dedicated entirely to their build your own burger. Let me tell you, you could’ve built a burger any number of a thousand ways. There were about 8 different types of burgers, buns, cheese, spreads and dozens of toppings to load up on. The true praise here is that they actually cooked my hamburger exactly the way it should have been. I also have high praise for the spicy dijon mustard (which had hints of horseradish) and their onion bun. I put sauteed onions on it, but they made the burger difficult to hold and eat because everything was sliding all over the place, I’d leave these off next time, they contributed nothing to the burger. I had crinkle cut fries with the burger, but they were unspectacular and exactly what one should expect with those.
The wings were very interesting. If I’m not mistaken, these were smoked at some point because of the way the meat fell away from the bones and way the meat tasted. The buffalo sauce was mild, but delivered a solid flavor and aroma. There were at least 10 wings in this order, but I didn’t actually count them. I will say there were definitely more in the order than I was expecting.
Of the 9 in my group, I was probably the one most impressed here. So I lightly factor others opinions into my score.
I did call ahead to see if they could accomodate 9 people with little advance notice. Without them taking a name or number they had a table set for 10 when we arrived.
We didn’t get our servers name during our visit and he was very “to the point.” Not super personable or relatable, but good at what he did.
The restaurant itself is a kind of a cross between sports bar and modern American sit down. They had a beer and wine menu as well as a bar. It’s likeable set up.
I personally would’ve rated this as 5 if I had gone by myself. But a handful of others I was with felt the food was just okay. I would certainly come back here though.

Absolutely love the two-story meatloaf entree. My wife likes their wraps. We’ve been going to TCC since back when they were located at Northbrook Court mall. The current location is significantly smaller in size, but the food and service are consistently outstanding.

Little hidden gem here in Northbrook. We have had wings , burgers , wraps and much more. This time we ordered tuna avocado melt and the salmon sandwich. Let me tell you they did not disappoint. Both had great flavor and good portions. I will definitely be back for more.

We were looking for a place near our hotel and found this little gem. Fast and friendly service. Delicious food and wine at reasonable prices. We had Caesar and Garden salads to begin. Our mains were steak/fries and chicken wings/sweet potato fries. We finished with a mini bread pudding. We would go back!

Always liked coming here. Even when they were in NBC, the food remains the same. The motherload is a great burger. The steak sandwich is excellent. Dont forget the steamed artichoke. And if you get the fries…ask for the “claim sauce” (its a hidden secret)

I would give them more stats for service, absolutely incredible. From helping us find the best table with two small kids to helping us pick the menu items that made the most sense to us, not the highest priced, and finally give us a sample of new food they were testing and getting feedback.
