What an absolute gem! Dumb Luck Bar is friendly, beautiful, and extremely clean with truly great service. We stopped in for a night out and ordered a hamburger and buffalo wings — both were exceptional and cooked exactly as requested. You can tell they take pride in both their food and their atmosphere. Even the restrooms were spotless, which says a lot!
We had such a wonderful experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

We stopped by for lunch, great service, and the food was excellent. I had the fries and boneless wings, cooked perfectly. Service was great, attentive and friendly, not pushy. The pub is very clean and the bathroom is one of the cleanest I’ve been in. If you have an issue, talk to the service people or owner. They are more than happy to make it right. They can’t make anything right, if they are unaware.

A few weeks ago I had the soul crushing experience of having a terrible Ruben at a different local restaurant – to make matters worse – the service had been fussy and the food was overpriced. Thankfully, the Dumb Luck Pub and Grill came to the rescue today, sating my hunger and repairing my soul damage all at once. An absolutely perfect and generously sized Ruben, perfectly seasoned-balanced flavors, paired with a delightfully uncomplicated, un-fussy professional service experience. I don’t drink but those patrons who do will have plenty to choose from. Hard to imagine a better meal than an ice cold beer and the best Ruben that I’ve had to date in Vermont. But what do I know??? I’m just a fat man who cooks 🙂

My husband, one year old, and I misremembered the hours Dumb Luck Pub was open and showed up an hour early. The owner saw us, brought us in, and opened the kitchen early. The musical guest came over and played guitar for my baby. Everyone was beyond accommodating and friendly and the food was great. We will remember their service and kindness for a long time.

Not surprised to see other negative reviews about the owner. Parked in the “restaurant parking” lot (which is for multiple restaurants in the same building) thinking it included Mountain Valley across the street, just to pick up DoorDash. I had walked down to the sidewalk to cross when he yelled after me and explained the parking, I said yo my bad won’t park there again, just gonna be in n out real quick, I’m picking up. He got hella verbally aggressive spouting off bout how he’s gonna lose Valentines Day customers cuz I’m parked there for two minutes. He threatened to tow me which is funny cuz I was indeed in and out in a minute (I knew the order was ready) so there was zero chance I’d be there when the truck showed. I understand busy nights can be stressful but I get the feeling he has these angry outbursts a lot, kinda makes me worried for his employees.

Been here a few times, service and food are always fantastic. Probably one of the most quality burger patties you can get in VT. Love the curly fries. Tried something new on the menu each time and all has been good. Trivia on Wednesday nights!

I attended a freinds birthday night out at this pub. About an hour in, a manager or owner aggressively approached our table accusing us of rolling thc products. After showing him that it was tobacco, he continued to act abrasive and combative. Instead of acting professionally or offering an apology, he stormed off ordering us to “Not do that (explerative) here!”
It was a bizzare, uncomfortable, and completely inappropriate interaction. I would caution people to attend this business out of personal safety. If we had not been passive, I would imagine the situation could have easily escalted.

Such a pretty restaurant! Super clean, very well decorated, and great food! I had the soft pretzel and a “small” (not small at all!!) caesar salad and it was delicious!
Reasonable pricing and kind, attentive service from the staff. Highly recommended this restaurant. Don’t let the construction deter you, there is plenty of parking in the back, and it is well worth the stop!

Evan the bar tender has to be the nicest guy I’ve met. Some friends, and I were being a pain in the ass ordering left, and right, AND THEN asked for a deck of cards, and sure enough he went to look, and found some.

The woman behind the bar was very warm and welcoming and brought our food out quickly. We were the only ones there.
The Food: Tater Tots were very undercooked and fell into pieces in my hand.
The Turkey Club was fine, but as others have noticed, flavorless.
Onion rings, flavorless.
Ribeye Steak n Cheese was a good size, nice bread but tasteless. I don’t know how you make ribeye meat tasteless.
