We loved the food here so much, we came back a second time while traveling here in Oregon. We are lucky to have found this gem. The food was not only delicious with generous portions, but also the service was superb! We had the mussels and mushrooms as appetizers the first time dining here. The second time, we tried the salmon bites. My husband ordered the New York strip steak for his meal both times we ate at this restaurant since he loved it so much. I had the Marsala Chicken and then the Parmesan Chicken. Both times the chicken was moist and tender and so tasty.
For the dessert, the first time we tried the pumpkin cake with carmel sauce and vanilla ice cream. The second time we had the chocolate brownie with ice cream and strawberries. Both desserts topped off our wonderful meals. We are so happy to have found this restaurant while visiting the area and hope to be back soon!

I had an amazing experience at J’s Steakhouse! I ordered the New York steak topped with garlic butter shrimp, paired with a loaded baked potato and the house salad. Everything was spot on — they even bring out fresh bread to the table that was literally steaming hot and tasted like it just came straight from the oven. The salad was great, but the standout was the croutons! They were soft with just the right crunch and had a buttery flavor that made them unforgettable.
The steak itself was seasoned perfectly and cooked exactly how I asked. We also tried the salmon, lobster tail, and the T-bone steak — all generous portions and cooked beautifully. The jumbo shrimp cocktail was another highlight, with plump shrimp and a cocktail sauce that had just the right amount of kick.
Our waitress, Vicky, was outstanding. She was friendly, attentive, and took great care of us. My parents are regulars of hers and she knew exactly what they wanted, which made the whole experience feel even more personal.
Overall, this is a very good steakhouse with huge portions and great flavors. You will definitely leave here full and satisfied. Highly recommend!

Was not my favorite. I did take out. The sautéed mushrooms came more like a soup and spread in the bag… The chicken cordon bleu would’ve been great, but it was just a little too salty for my taste. Presentation was awesome. Maybe it was because it was takeout because I see this place has great reviews so maybe I’ll try it again. Calamari was awesome.

I come here for work a couple times a year and regularly go to Rooster’s Steakhouse but the last time was just too much, service and paying $10 for a slice of frozen Marie Calendars pie for dessert was the straw that broke the proverbial camels back! So this trip I was looking up steak thinking about trying the other place…then J’s Steakhouse popped up. We came here, didn’t want to sit downstairs with all the couples doing special occasions, so we headed up to the lounge. Perfect place for business folks, bright lighting, tables, Erma the bartender was awesome. Bread was so soft and fresh, generous butter so when you go for more bread there’s plenty. Salad was amazing, like other reviewers the croutons were amazing. Mashed potatoes were good, Asparagus was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, ribeye was perfectly cooked and tasty and I forgot – the salad comes with the meal (vs all the ala carte places these days) so splurged on adding mushrooms and onions and ended with an delicious pumpkin cheesecake for $7. $61 for all of that is nuts, Erma and crew earned the 20% tip vs. so many other places today. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.

The service was fine and staff were friendly, but the food didn’t live up to the high 4.8 rating. The steak was overcooked and dry, and the mahi-mahi was also heavily overcooked. The side salad felt like low-quality pre-packaged greens, which was disappointing for a steakhouse. Overall, the experience was okay, but not close to what the current rating suggests.

The place was not busy. Waitress did a tremendous job, but that was the only saving grace. My prime rib looked great but was so tough I couldn’t cut it with a steak knife and my vegetables were cold. Clam chowder I could have drank with a straw. My wife’s salmon pasta was gummy. We don’t mind paying for an expensive meal, but I’ve had better fast food.

First off we sat in the bar and the atmosphere was quiet and amazing. The work the owner has done is amazing. The drinks were well made we had an old fashioned and Malbec and Moscow mule. 2nd time we had margaritas all hand made and fresh squeezed! The food was amazing steamer clams 10/10, clam chowder 10/10 and the prime was just perfect!!! THE PASTA is a must try! I would recommend ! Bathroom was super neat ! Mr B’s had huge shoes to fill and for the first time these owners got it !!!

Went here for a date night and had a wonderful experience. Every dish we tried was delicious and filling. Our waitress was professional and attentive throughout the evening. The restaurant is clean and has a classy, upscale vibe. It’s on the pricier side, but you get quality dishes with fresh ingredients. Absolutely worth it.

Wish I would have remembered to take photos of all the food because it was amazing. I had the steak and pasta, it had so much flavor. The cheese dip appetizer is amazing. And the strawberry Italian soda was also amazing. Definitely recommend. Service was great. We will be back to try the seafood!
