Went here today for the first time. Wanted to try some vegan foods. Everything was really good! The owner was amazing she explained everything to us and answered all our questions!! Service 10 out of 10. Jibarito with the steak was sooooo good! The vegan tacos was good to try. My personal preference- was not a big fan of the the pastor sauce – so I would get it with our next time on the tacos and on the loaded fries! Definitely would go back and try different things! Hibiscus tea was a big hit also. Everything was very fresh! Definitely worth going in and trying something different.

Authentic Mexican food. Very friendly and polite people. The serving size of their guacamole & chips was very generous. I like getting their best-seller Jibarito sandwich with steak. This location is a nice spot if you want delicious and affordable Mexican food in Gurnee. Large vegetarian selection.

And we loooved the food. The tortilla chips with the pozole slapped, the cactus nachos and flautas were super flavorful. Special mention goes to the jibarito with eggplant which was absolutely fantastic. Whenever I’m up in Gurnee I’ll be sure to come again.

I have always wanted to come here and today I finally made it in! Lot’s and lots of great vegan choices. I ordered Loaded Vegan Cactus Nachos plus tator tots.The food is very very good and full of flavor.The people working here were very nice always a plus!!

This is an unusual Mexican style restaurant. Lots of vegan menu items, as a matter of fact the whole menu was vegan. They do serve non-vegan as well, just no menu yet. Here you order at the counter and pickup your food. My food was brought out to me since it was not busy at the time. I had a small bowl of green pozole, which was vegan. It was fine, but I am used to a rich meat based broth and Spicey. Vegans should love this place! My next course were two hand made tortillas and pork, which were tasty. Momcorn is a culinary delight that deserves a solid 5-star rating! we started with the vegan loaded fries. I had the vegan horchata and chimichanga and my fiancé had the Jimbarito and guava water. The ice cream taco sealed the deal for a perfect meal. each dish showcased creativity and flavor. With the added touch of freshness with in-house-made beans, tortillas, and salsa. Momcorn stands out. Great service, delectable food, and the joy of supporting a small business – it doesn’t get better than this!

This place is amazing! We stumbled upon it because the sushi place next door wasn’t open, and are so glad we ate here! The owners are very sweet and personally came out to tell us about the menu. They have food for all dietary restrictions. My friend has a gluten allergy and they did their best to not cross contaminate. Portions are huge and delicious. Plus breakfast is served all day! P.S. it recently is under new management so if you weren’t impressed before give it another shot.
