What a nice place to visit. Located in Historic Fort Ritchie. There also is a cafe there now and a winery coming soon. Talk about revitalized there are shops, businesses, and residences. Also of interest is the museum. Definitely worth the trip. Especially meaningful to those of us who were there when it was an active installation.

**5-Star Review for Top Secret Tap Room**
If you’re looking for a spot with real character and a one-of-a-kind vibe, **Top Secret Tap Room** in historic Fort Ritchie delivers! Housed in a beautifully preserved old military building the atmosphere is incredibly unique—think classic military architecture blended with a cozy, welcoming taproom feel.
As someone with **gluten allergies**, I can’t say enough good things about how they handle accommodations. The staff is always attentive and knowledgeable—they go out of their way to make sure everything is safe. I’ve never had a single issue with cross-contamination, which is huge for me. They also offer some delicious **hard ciders on tap** that are naturally gluten-free, so I can enjoy a cold one without worry.
Whether you’re a local, a history buff, or just want a relaxed spot with excellent drinks and food, this place is a hidden gem in Fort Ritchie. Highly recommend—5/5 stars!

A very cool place tucked in the retired Ft Ritchie base.
Tap room has good selection of draft, mostly local brews. They also have rail liquors and seltzers.
They also have appetizers and sandwiches with sides. What we had ( pretzels, quesadillas and bbq) was decent. But not great.
It was priced accordingly, the menu is not overpriced.
Service was excellent, I would come back again.

Located in historic Fort Ritchie in Highland Cascade, Maryland, why not enjoy a diverse food menu while you sit in the midst of the site of MITC (Military Intelligence Training Center) or Camp Ritchie as most people are familiar with. You will be sitting above the location of one of the main training facilities at Camp Ritchie. 20,000+ soldiers attended the Camp, many of which served overseas in Army intelligence securing 60% of all actionable intelligence during WWII. Come visit, have a bite and a draft in the Top Secret Tap Room and feel free to explore the grounds and visit the Camp Ritchie History Museum.

Nice location. Cute interior with fireplace. Super friendly staff. A bit expensive & took awhile to get our food. $9+ for crab dip was small cup serving, a couple bread slices, & scant few carrots and celery. Would go again but make sure you have lots of time spare.

I hadn’t been here for almost a year. I got two 16 oz. draft beers. A simple Vanilla Porter. I was shocked when Molly brought me my bill. Each beer was $9. Are you kidding me? That’s an outrageous price for a beer that I have gotten for $5 and $6 at other places. I didn’t see the prices posted. I guess I should have asked. Oh well, lesson learned. Won’t be going back.

Nice new place, excellent Service, from Valerie, very decent prices.
It’s a little loud for my older ears, but I’ll be back. The tables have a odd, sticky finish, that make them feel like they need to be cleaned, but they are clean.

First time here, love the atmosphere and history. A little loud. Service pretty good but room for improvement. Chicken sandwich a little dry, but still very good. Quesadilla very good. Would get both again after trying other menu items. Nice selection of local brews, good music. Would go again.

Quick and friendly.
Outside dining area has a tremendous view.
Good bar food.
Good variety of beers and don’t let the name fool you – drinks other than beer, too.
They have added a pool table.
