Last night we ordered take out for delivery. We sit to eat our dinner opening containers and noticed our egg fu young was super thin and almost black (burnt). Anyone packing this order should’ve noticed the burnt meal. So now I call to complain (first complaint ever here) a young lady explained she would get a new one made if I brought burnt meal back. I explained I had it delivered for a reason and I cant get back to the restaurant, she then replied back” im a part time worker” so I then asked ” is there a better time to call and talk with a manger or ower?” She replied back i dont know. Now she says all she can do is give me $5 off. We dont order out often because we simply cant afford it, needless to say its super disappointing when food isn’t edible. Our tender fluffy egg fu young was crunchy and burnt. Extremely disappointed in how this was handled. Ive been a very loyal customer for 15 plus years but horrible customer service has me saying goodbye. I hate wasting my hard earned money.

I am pissed I bought general tso chicken I was super disappointed I got big chunks of chicken rice with hardly any onions no vegetables and she told me it don’t come with any Yes it does. They just didn’t put any on here being extremely cheap and stingy whoever gave these people four and five stars don’t know what they’re talking about. Chinese food in Bloomington years ago used to be so much better now is garbage I wouldn’t recommend this to anybody there is literally nothing in the rice this food was just plain yeah have flavor no vegetables two cheap to put vegetables in the general chicken everybody don’t want their food just sweet. I expected this in the south but I didn’t expect it to here everybody taking the easy way out all this food has gone up but it’s not even worth it this is coming from a chef.

Update: I come here at least once a week for sushi. The sushi is always top tier.
got my lunch from here today and overall it was a great meal. The sushi was extremely fresh and absolutely phenomenal. Their sushi was actually better than most places I’ve been that are dedicated to sushi. The orange chicken itself was good, nothing too special. The rice was very DRY! Other than the rice being dry, it was pretty good. You can kind of see how it’s like sticky rice so it dried out really fast once I opened the container to eat. I will definitely come back here for the sushi and roll alone!

Every time I come back here, I am consistently impressed. This is my first time ordering sushi which is why I am leaving a review now 🙂 they actually gave me Japanese soy sauce for my sushi. So many places leave out the small details like that!

I believe Golden Wok in Bloomington changed ownership within the past year, and oh my goodness—the food is fantastic now! If it’s been a while since you’ve dined in, ordered takeout, or had it delivered, don’t hesitate to give it another try. Everything is cooked to order, full of flavor, generously portioned, and the staff is wonderful. Highly recommend!

I’ve tried about 10+ spots looking for good general tofu with horrible luck until I tried Golden Wok here in Bloomington. I’m very picky with my tofu texture.. golden wok did an excellent job. They didn’t have general tofu on the menu but they accommodated anyway. 10/10. It’s my new favorite spot. We also ordered the chicken curry and that was delicious as well and it was on the mild side for spice!

Christmas day. Unbelievably busy! They told us it would be an hour wait for our food, it was only an hour and 3 minutes. All of the food was hot and delicious! The people working remained positive and polite. Thank you!

I used to love coming here! It has gone way downhill. You no longer get a server, you have to order at the counter. Then you are served your food on paper plates with plastic utensils…yikes. If you don’t want to serve guests properly, just switch to take-out only. So disappointing. Was also given tea in a paper cup.

Sesame & General Tso chicken are both good. Their sauces are kinda lightly flavored, but plentiful. Fried rice is kinda dry, but isn’t bad — has big chunks of white onion. Really needed some sauce to liven it up.
Golden Chicken had a spicy/sour Yum Yum sauce. We both enjoy Yum Yum sauce, but we got a strong “spoiled mayonnaise” vibe from it. Big yuck
