This is one of our favorite fast food chains that we have come across. We got a kids meal with a roast beef sandwich, veggies, ice cream and a fountain drink, and the remix sandwich. The roast beef was delicious and is so lean you could almost call it a healthy option. The ice cream is very tasty, it’s not gourmet but for fast food it’s creamy and packed with the vanilla flavor. The remix was very tasty and the texas toast made it almost decadent.

We stopped here at the recommendation of a friend and were not dissappointed.
This was our first time and the staff was really friendly with answering questions so we could decide what we wanted to try first.
The food came quickly and was the best fast food roast beef I’ve ever had! The sauces were a standout and they had gluten free buns!
We will definitely be stopping again when we’re around STL!

This location is hit or miss. I hate posting a negative review, especially when it’s an establishment I enjoy… just not this location. They probably need to revamp a little in maintaining standards. With each stop I slowly notice declines. This is updated rating from 4 stars to 1 within a month or two. I don’t have high expectations aside from friendliness, clean environment, hot food, and condiments that are full when sitting out to help ourselves as a customer which saves time for an employee to keep them filled and/or apply attention towards one of the other complaints I had. If these were to change, I’d update this towards a positive review, but at $18.00 everytime I stop there I just expect a little more for my money.

You can tell that the only way they qualify a new employee is to give them the “fog a mirror” test. If they can fog a mirror, they are hired. I’m a native St. Louisan who has supported Lion’s Choice restaurants from day one. Eaten there literally thousands of times. This afternoon my wife and I ate at their Sullivan MO location. The front counter female clerk was not competent, nor did she ever smile or say “thank you”. I gave her a $50 bill to pay for my sandwich, she gave me change as if I had given her a $20 bill. After repeated advising her that she did not give me the correct amount of change, she finally got the manager to open the cash register only to see my $50 bill on top. Both the manager and the clerk just looked at it like a deer in headlights and didn’t say one word. Not “sorry”, not anything. The manager gave me the correct change and I went on my way. It is so incredibly disappointing to see a great restaurant slide backwards. To add insult to injury, the food was substandard. On a positive note, all of the teenage employees sounded like they were having a great time, laughing, making jokes, basically having a party instead of taking care of their customers. The new “normal”, right?

Stopped by here on the way home. One of the best spicy italian beef sandwiches we ever had! The regular roast beef sandwich was good too (looked like real roast beef)! The soup was a little watery but good.

Ordered lunch from here to go. They put the hot soup and Aju on the bottom of the bag with a busted lid. Burnt my legs and got every where in our car. When I called they told me that’s how they are trained to do it. Then proceeded to question why I held the bag of food instead of putting it on the floor. So you burnt me and blamed me for it. I won’t go back.
