In Parque das Nações near Oriente Station Kailash Parbat Group’s Bombay Republic with 70-year heritage in 12+ countries, delivers genuine North Indian flavors in a modern setting with in- and outdoor seating, with an extensive authentic menu, a good wine card and young attentive service in a contemporary ambiance with sport running on several screens and quite present background music.

We were two for dinner that shared fresh-baked naan garlic bread, samosa chaat with yogurt and chutneys, for mains a chicken tikka masala with basmati rice, a very generous and tasty lamb biryani with saffron rice, all with two glasses of wine, water and for only €30/pax.

Bombay Republic is a true gem in Lisbon for anyone craving authentic Indian flavors. From the moment we walked in, the warm hospitality and attentive service made us feel right at home. It’s also kid-friendly, which made our family dinner all the more enjoyable.

We ordered quite a few dishes, and every single one was bursting with flavor. The Mumbai Fried Chicken was an instant hit with the kids – perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, with just the right balance of spices. The Anda Bhurji was rich, flavorful, and full of that signature Mumbai street-food taste. The Bombay Vada Pao was another standout – it truly transported us back to Mumbai with its authentic flavor and perfect spice balance.

The Chicken Curry was hearty and delicious, while the Dal Makhani was a comforting, creamy delight – an excellent choice for vegetarians. Every dish tasted fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and packed with just the right amount of spice and character.

Overall, Bombay Republic offers an outstanding Indian dining experience in Lisbon – flavorful food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere for families.

Food was good, and the guys working here had good service. The place is clean.

Prices are high. Photo is 24€ — 16 entree, 4 for rice, 4 for naan. Management should look into adjusting prices, especially on items like rice and naan.

I have eaten out in a dozen or so countries in the EU and these prices are high for many capital cities, including the rest of Lisbon. They are comparable with a downtown cafe in a prime location, which this is not. It should be a hint that the restaurant is nearly empty at dinnertime. I would not come back.

One of the highlights of our recent trip to Lisbon was this delightful meal at Bombay Republic. We ate the prawn Koliwada, Paneer Butter masala, butter naan, Butter Chicken biryani and to drink the mango lassi and this absolutely refreshing cocktail called the Colaba Colada.

If you adore indian food cooked with authenticity and love this is the place to go.

This was a wonderful find in Lisbon. The food was genuinely great Indian food,well-balanced, not too spicy, and not oily at all. Everything tasted fresh and comforting. We were five family members on a trip to Portugal, and the portions were generous; we ate well and were fully satisfied. After living in Europe for almost three years, this was the first place where I truly felt I found authentic Indian taste. Even compared to food in India, it was pleasantly mild and perfectly cooked. A great experience overall, and highly recommended for families looking for real Indian flavors. I am gonna have luch again when we come back from Albuferia next week.

It’s ok. Not spectacular, not bad. Good for a rainy day in which some hot spiced food is needed.

My favorite restaurant in Lisbon. The quality for price is simply oustanding! The staff is super friendly and the atmsophere is very cool – the restaurant is very spacious with modern design and pleasant music.

Lovers of Indian / Nepalese food will definitely bot leave dissapointed. I would recommend to try biryanis and samosa chaat.
