So hear me out…..the Pita was fresh and yumm….I had the chicken shawarma..okay, yes, it didn’t have much flavor. My boy had gyro….can’t go wrong with that meat…everything else was fresh, crunchy yumm. Well portioned. The guy was very friendly. I also had a cup of lentil soup…U wanted to love it, but it was super salty and spicy. My 12 year old had rice and lettuce and feta cheese on his gyro and he devoured it!
Music was eccentric, loved it.

I have been waiting until my anger at this place subsided before deciding to write this review. This used to be my favorite place to eat in North America. Since the establishment changed hands so did the quality in that I’d get almost raw bread so decided not to go back. I decided to give them a second chance a few months ago. The hummus was lumpy and looked like I was eating vomit or cottage cheese. It killed my apetite. And the tabouli which is normally fresh crunchy and zesty was just old mush. It was so gross I couldn’t finish it. Just wound up throwing it all out. I understand you have some leftover foods but throwing it out should be the option over serving it once it’s turned. Nothing wrong with quality control. The rice and gyros was fine. This place has gone from being a jewel to a true disappointment.

The food was solid. I think the portions were good for the price. I really did enjoy the spicy hummus.
My only complaint is that I had an awful stomach ache for about 24 hours after eating here. Not sure if the food just wasn’t kept hot enough or what, but my body was mad at me.
Overall, I would probably come back again in the future. I probably wouldn’t come in at 11am on the nose though when they first open for the day.

1. Thd employee dished out the food, but did NOT ask how much dressing I wanted on my salad, and gave me 2 scoops. All I could taste was vinegar.
2. No one asked if we needed anything during or after the meal.I got a container; no bags were available. *The container leaked nasty dressing on my cars eat!

If you’re in the mood for authentic Mediterranean cuisine, Mediterranean cafe is the place to be. The combination of delicious food, great service, and cozy ambiance makes it a standout choice for any occasion. Highly recommend!

There should be a disclaimer on their sign, saying this is North African Mediterranean food. The only flavor I tasted was sumac on the meat.
I had the BD Plater which was beef and chicken shawarma along with gyro slices.
Bland flavorless food.
Well the Baba ghanoush had flavor but the wrong ones. It tasted canned and had a bad chemical smoked flavor instead of a natural smoked flavor. The humus was basically raw garlic and lemon.
Everything was served on a bed of couscous with chickpeas. This was also devoid of flavor.
There are a lot of better Mediterranean places to eat in the OKC area and I suggest you go to one of them and not here.

First time coming here, very impressed with the flavors. I ordered the Gyro Salad. Liked it so well I ordered another one to take home for Saturday’s lunch. Definitely will be coming back.

I got the chicken shawarma with rice and couscous, sumac onions, cucumbers, chickpeas, Taziki, tahini, Baba ghanoush, And tabbouleh. I was Initially, very surprised by the decent prices. When I got my food in the car, that was another story. The baba ganoush tasted sour and expired! I actually had to spit it out. The chicken Shawarma did not taste like Shawarma. A couple of the things such as the couscous did not look like on my plate as it did in the selection pictures when you make your plate. I tried to order falafel and was told they were out. I was kind of getting the vibe that they did not want to make anything fresh because even the chicken was already cooked. I was highly disappointed on wasting my money at this place and will not be back.

Do not waste your money on this restaurant! I was craving a gyro plate and with this restaurant being the closest to me I gave it a try. Never again! I spent the $15 for a gyro plate and took 4 bites just to throw the rest away. They saturated it with the dressing that wasn’t even flavorful, the rice I chose had no flavor and was hard, the meat had a disgusting burnt flavor to it and the vegetables were soggy and not fresh! I do not write reviews, but this was horrible!
