So, let’s get one thing straight: this place is good, and I have been coming here for years. I often get the jalapeno nacho cheesesteak.

This is also the epitome of family-run businesses; they have been here for decades with the same ownership. Even though I had not been in the restaurant in over 12 months, one of the regular managers recognized me and struck up a conversation about where I had been and what I had been up to. That kind of service and care is not everywhere, that is for damn sure.
This is a great little dive bar to take friends and family out for an honest meal an a zesty adult beverage. They have a huge beer menu, and while their menu is a little limited (vegetarians seek other places to eat) everything on it is delicious, I have always gotten some form of “steak” here, and never been dissatisfied with my choices.
I cannot recommend this place enough, give it a try!

We came here as a party of a 9 around lunchtime on a Tuesday. I called ahead letting them know we had a large group coming in. They said they do not do reservations, but when we arrived, they luckily had a table reserved for us. The parking lot does get crowded as this place is a hit for locals. I ordered the teriyaki chicken Philly with sweet potato fries. I enjoyed my meal and no major complaints. The food came out in a reasonable time frame. I would say this place is better for groups of 4 rather than large groups as there is limited space for a large table set up. Overall it was a positive experience and I would return.

Absolutely a hidden gem of a good ole pub! My hubby & I loved the atmosphere & casual coziness of both the inside and out dining areas. The food choices were yummy and the presentation, portions and taste did not disappoint all of the dishes getting served looked fresh and scrumptious! I had a Turkey Reuben & Hubby had cheeseburger sub with golf balls The staff were very friendly. The bathrooms were clean and well kept also. Deff try out this pub!

Nice spot for WS residents and Demon Deacons alike. Every time I visit is a chill and delicious experience. I got the “Fire Bird” and my oh my; buff chicken sandwiches are one of those plates I love to compare at diff locations… this one is up there. Amazing service, homemade sauces, and a nice restaurant/bar atmosphere.
If you like ranch you will like Putters ranch. I’m a ranch head and let me say, I’ve considered buying a bottle.

Local location, dive bar with mediocre food. Outside semi wraparound patio was nice. Service was good. The steak was over priced for its lack of flavor and chewy texture. The steak sub was alright. My boyfriend loved it. I apparently have better taste, lol. Very limited drink options for liquor. It’s worth trying.

Establishment is on the dirty side and our server had no personality. Food was Good and friendly atmosphere. Great location to grab a bite to eat or a drink prior to a Wake Forest event. I ordered the Dagwood sandwich with Onion Rings. Not sure if I’ll return or not.

I have passed this place for years and never ate there and I’ve really been missing out. This is such a good hole in the wall place. Sat on the patio because it was a nice fall day. I enjoyed the Buffalo chicken wrap. It was amazing their buffalo sauce homemade the chicken was crispy and my wrap wasn’t falling apart. The part about all this was the homemade ranch and hot chips. They have a variety of appetizers as well.

Don’t let the location or ambience fool you, this is hands down one of the best spots in the whole state to get a steak! Get a choice cut if you can swing it. It’ll be the best $50 you spend all year.
If in doubt, Putters is the move. The service is impeccable and the food is even better.
