Reviews
We order the dish which is out of their menu call Xin Jiang Spicy Chicken which is all bones like chicken neck bones.
Besides we also order the Braised Pork belly with the pickles which the meats has no flavour and hard to bite.
After having their food, I have headache and needs to drink a lots of water. Which means their food contains too much of MSG.
Overall, is the worst food I had for my visit to Troy at the moment.
This restaurant does have a second full menu of realistic dishes not just the americanized versions you expect.
The restaurant was packed, and the majority of the patrons were Chinese. There are two menus: one standard American-style Chinese (Cantonese and Szechuan), and another that appears to be more traditional. Judging by how many Asian customers were dining there, I assume the traditional menu may be the stronger option. I ordered from the standard menu.
They were incredibly busy. The woman acting as hostess and order-taker was clearly overwhelmed. I’m generally easygoing and understanding when a place is swamped — but her demeanor wasn’t just rushed, it was rude and openly hostile.
After placing my order, I waited… and waited. Eventually I asked about it. She requested my receipt, then told me the order had already been picked up by someone else. I suppose that’s possible — but I was seated directly beside the counter where carryout orders were placed. No one ever called my name or order number.
Frustrated, she disappeared into the kitchen.
Eventually she handed me a replacement order, still insisting it had already been picked up — with an undertone that somehow I was responsible. That part left a bad taste before I even left the building.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t redeem the experience.
The spring rolls were underwhelming. The fried rice didn’t look promising — and it tasted worse than it looked. The combination dish (shrimp, chicken, beef, and pork in a sweet savory sauce) was equally disappointing.
I’m glad I tried it — now I know not to return.
If you’re looking for good Chinese food, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.
Another good authentic Chinese szachwan Chinese restaurant
We ordered spicy pig feet in dry pot
It was delicious. Could a little softer
Next, we got the Chinese broccoli
It was great lightly cooking, still crunchy, not overcooked,
Next, we ordered sautéed vermicelli with spicy minced pork ,tastes great also not to sweet or salty.
Next up was the global steam pork
A touch of sweet but not too overpowering
A hint of tea leaves cooked soft
We also ordered mapo tufo
It’s a little spicy, oily soft tofu dish
The last items we ordered were the
Steam chicken in chill oil
It was great, too
They also offer American Chinese food
If you’re not interested or not used to real authentic Chinese szachwan dishes
Everything was good. Fresh delicious food
No complaints from me
Szachwan Chinese dishes can be strong if u ordered spicy it because off the szachwan peppers corn
It’s strong, numb your taste buds if eaten too much
Give this place a try if you’re a fan of real authentic Chinese cuisine
Definitely will be back if we’re in the area
