Excellent service. Had the pork chop sandwich. Thicker than others I’ve had which isn’t my preference but it was tender. Not a lot of flavor. Didn’t know you could ask for sauces till it was too late. Guessing their fried chicken and the halibut fish n chips would’ve been more to my liking. Cute old diner vibe.

We were told to come here by a local. We tried the whop chop, which is a beer breaded chicken sandwich, we got lettuce and tomato on ours. The breading process gives this a less greasy and more solid crunch than your typical fried chicken. We got the jo jos as the side, which is a potato cut into 4 and fried. Not bad just like a large potato wedge fry. If you’re already in the area, it’s worth a try.

This is a must stop if you want a good pork chop sandwich. We come in every time we pass through for the wop chop! I think we’ve had the same server every single time and she’s great at making sure everyone gets good service. It’s a small but friendly neighborhood dive bar just off of the interstate.

I kept reading that if I wanted an awesome pork chop sandwich this was the place to go. So, my wife and I finally made it last weekend, and WE LOVED IT!!! We were very impressed !!!
You definitely get what you pay for, and I love restaurants that aren’t afraid to feed you.
The whop chop was super delicious! With soft and toasted buns, and the juicy and moist pork chop squeezed between them( mouth watering). Also, I really liked the crispy and crunchy batter that surrounded the pork chop.
They aren’t afraid to give you what I call jojos!! These were really delicious and had the perfect texture! My wife joked that it is like they just took the potato and cut it in four. Oh, and I had the poppers…AMAZING! They had just the right amount of cream cheese, just the perfect texture, and the perfect crunch to the batter cover.
The lady at the bar who took my order was really friendly and polite!! This place is two thumbs up to me !

We ordered crispy chicken salads that were $8.50 apiece and they are literally just lettuce in a cup with a piece of tomato and two chicken strips. The fries from the burgers we ordered were just thrown into the bottom of a bag And all are other orders placed on top of them. They combined the three orders of fries. When we called to ask about it, they were very rude. I definitely would not recommend this place.

This was my first time at this location. We visited on a Saturday night for supper. It was pretty slow inside but the counter had a lot of orders waiting for pick up. We ordered fairly quickly at the bar for carry out. The wait time was average. We ordered the infamous pork chop sandwich. It was a little disappointing though as we didn’t know it was deep fried. Prices were very reasonable. The place has a great history.

What a fun place to stop and grab a whop chop on the way through town! Such friendly and helpful service, not to mention the fun menu options. We were recommended to stop and try the whop chop sandwich and it didn’t disappoint!

So, the wait staff is much more fun and engaging than the food. Stopped here for the WopChop and was underwhelmed. It is an awesome ‘experience’ to say you had one, but they aren’t as good as you would think. Break off the over abundance of beer batter and take a couple bites, it’s worth the time.

When in Butte you gotta try their pork chop sandwich. We went to Freeway cuz of the reviews and when I asked a couple locals they also pointed me to Freeway. Get the whop chop and ask for extra mayo. SO good!!! My hubby got the fried chicken. Chicken was perfectly cooked and so crispy plus juicy inside. It didn’t have too much flavour though. They have a list of sauces on their board so we asked for BBQ sauce to dip in. It was pretty good. If u get the chicken I recommend u ask for sauce. Fries were also very good. Hand cut just how I like them!
