The Cafe has counter seating and booths. The music was a fun groovy mix. The server was super friendly and helpful. The omelets were fully stuffed and well-made. The jams were fresh-made from local harvests. The hashbrowns and fried potatoes lacked seasoning of any sort, so that’s the only reason it wasn’t 5 stars. I wish I could’ve scored it 4.5 stars.

The corn beef hash was a special they added and not a regular menu item. Food and service was great. Parking is either street parking or you can park the transit station half a block away. Small cozy place to get great breakfast. Haven’t tried their lunch

The overall experience was positive. I had the bone-in ham steak with eggs and hashbrowns. My issue was with the flavor—the eggs and hashbrowns tasted like they were cooked in dirty oil. The hashbrowns were mediocre, and the eggs had a similar flavor. They were cooked as requested but didn’t taste good. The ham was good, and the service was average, but I won’t be returning.

It’s mainly a breakfast restaurant so there isn’t a happy hour. Sidewalk tables, inside tables, and counter seating. Great service upon entry, but sadly, there was no follow-up until our meal was almost finished.
Was looking forward to their “Homebrewed Ice Tea.” The tea had a coffee after taste. At $4.50 if you’re not into coffee, I wouldn’t recommend the tea.
Had the chicken fried chicken, which tasted great. Biscuit was a bit too dense for my liking.
Cute little hometown restaurant. Good place to support the local economy

Great Breakfast! Husband had Biscuits and gravy with eggs. I had pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausage. Eggs were fluffy and so we’re the pancakes. Friendly staff and service always great. Highly recommend.

Everything about this place is amazing. The food was delicious and the homemade jam went well on my English Muffin. 10/10 will come again

Let me start with the service. It was stellar. My server was kind and attentive but not annoying honestly he could not have been more perfect.

Atmosphere was average, middle of the road, diner. Nothing horrible, but also nothing to write home about just an average Diner feel to it. It was cleaning up that I felt safe eating the food.

I did use one of the two restrooms and it was fine. Unfortunately I had my granddaughter with me who needed a diaper change and there was not a place for that so I had to improvise and change her diaper on the toilet seat a changing pad I brought with me. There’s a little precarious but it was completed so that’s that.

As for the food, I got very excited when I saw that they have crinkle cut fries! So I ordered the fish and chips because both my granddaughter and I love fish and he doesn’t like fries right? LOL

The fries were cooked perfectly! And the fried cod came out looking scrumptious. My first of the three cod fillets was so delicious I was ready to compliment the kitchen and ready to tell them that it was better than the three times I had fish and chips at Gordon Ramsay’s place. Unfortunately, the very next to cod fillets were completely inedible. They were rubbery and solid feeling and not flaky at all. Almost like they were toy fillets from a child’s play set or something. There’s a horrible texture so I just left them there. But you better bet I brought them fries home to heat up in the air fryer later.

I ordered a strawberry shortcake to bring home and my server put everything in different containers so that my Shortcake will not get soggy and then I could build it at home whenever I was ready to eat it. I thought that was so kind!

Very cute and cozy small town diner. Food was good. I wish my hash brown was more crispy but that’s fine. The pancakes were so good and the server was very nice and friendly as well. I would like to go back 🙂

This was my very favorite place years ago so very excited to go back. Food was horrible the country potatoes we’re hugely sliced potatoes with no seasoning I asked for over hard eggs they were runny eggs I asked for somewhat crispy bacon it was not at all. I got a fruit bowl. The blueberries were good on top. The of the strawberries on the bottom were rotten. Very disappointing.
