I just tried Bellefonte Wok for the first time and I am so wildly impressed. This is the best tasting general tso’s chicken that I’ve had from a restaurant in god knows how long. The wonton soup was very flavorful and the fried chicken wings were as good as you remember from back in the golden age of Chinese buffets. Everything is hot and delicious, the portion size will feed me for several meals, and you can’t beat the price. I am definitely going to come back!!

Stopped in here on Thanksgiving Eve, stopping to spend the night in Bellefonte on drive to see family for holiday. The guy who took our order was great! Had actual suggestions for what they do well. Shared stories with us about his road trips and time spent in our city, Denver. Food was great; fresh and flavorful. Would 100% go back wish they were a little more convenient.

We returned to Bellefonte recently to visit and went back to the Bellefonte Wok. We used to frequent this restaurant when we lived in town to take advantage of the delicious buffet they offer. Today’s visit was everything we remembered. Nestled between shops on Allegheny Street near the courthouse, the restaurant offers both order from menu options or the all you can eat buffet. There is great variety on the buffet but my favorites were: General Tso’s chicken, chicken and broccoli, fried and sliced chicken breast in a peanut sauce, wontons and egg rolls and their green beans. They have soups like hot and sour, egg drop, etc. All very good! The service is good and efficient…they seated us immediately and invited us to the buffet right away. They were also very prompt removing dishes when we finished. The food is consistently delicious and the owners take pride in their craft and you can taste it in every bite! Thanks for a wonderful visit.

I heard an advert on the radio for this place, with Mr. Lu having passed through Bellefonte for years, then finally decided to stay and opened up the restaurant. Right now, they’re take away only, so the buffet isn’t happening for the time being. Nevertheless, the sweet and sour lunch deal with wonton soup was absolutely brilliant. I would highly recommend patronising this restaurant during the pandemic and afterwards as well. Cheers.

Great food! We dined in and had chicken lo mein and general tso’s chicken. We had plenty of food leftover to take home. There was a steady stream of customers in and out to pick up take-out orders. I highly recommend Bellefonte Wok!

Fun little place feeding the community and keeping them safe by creative use of plastic shielding, and a little magical transporter door to send you your food and take the cash. The beef and broccoli didn’t do much for me, but it was ok.

This place has been hit or miss since after COVID and since there is no longer buffet…you’re spending $80 for a variety of foods ( which for 2 people is ridiculous.) when you could have gotten a little bit of everything off the buffet at a more affordable price… even with inflation since COVID. Just isn’t worth the money for it to only be good *sometimes* anymore…a disappointment for Bellefonte tbh
