AMAZING food. Fried chicken sandwich was delicious! Service was outstanding. Mom and I were visiting and couldn’t decide what to get – server at the counter suggested we get the smash burger and fried chicken sandwich, said they’d cut them in half and we could have both 🙂
Fries had a unique great seasoning. We loved the local root beer and raspberry creme drinks. Overall amazing experience. Establishment was clean, welcoming and warm. 10/10 recommend!

I was suspicious of the high reviews here.

Are they paying for reviews, I asked myself? Or is it just a lot of inexperienced rural reviewers who have never experienced good restaurants?

I’ve eaten at thousands of restaurants across 40 something countries. I’m a bit jaded.

Turns out Graysons just really is that good. Fantastic flavors, textures, and balance in the breakfast burrito and fries we got. And the recipes aren’t derivative, it would appear that the chef actually knows how to create this stuff.

The decor is fine, if a bit sparse and bland.

Don’t let the bland strip mall exterior fool you, there is delicious food here. Enjoy it for this price, before they upgrade to a nice space, refine the presentation, and end up with a Michelin star.

Absolutely unacceptable experience at Grayson.

We came in as a group and each person ordered and paid separately for takeout. Despite that, Grayson automatically charged an 18% gratuity on TAKEOUT orders. No service, no explanation, no justification. I have never, ever been forced to pay a tip for food to go, and certainly not 18%.

Then we waited almost 50 minutes for takeout food. Fifty minutes. That alone is ridiculous.

Because the wait was so long, we ended up sitting down. Even then, there was still zero service. No one brought water. No one cleaned the table. No one served the food. We were completely ignored while being charged as if we had full table service.

Their excuse? That we came in as a “big group.” That makes no sense. We ordered individually. It was clearly marked as takeout on the receipt. A group of people placing to-go orders does not magically become a catered event.

Being forced to pay a service charge when no service was provided, combined with an almost hour-long wait, is beyond frustrating — it feels dishonest.

Do not recommend. First time in my life being charged a mandatory 18% for takeout, and it will absolutely be my last visit.

A brunch review: We chose Grayson’s because the pictures of the burritos looked amazing. Regretful, the reality – not so much. The egg-to-hashbrown ratio was good, but the eggs were not well seasoned. The aioli could have used more serrano. As a flavor, it was absent. This being said, we did enjoy the atmosphere: bright and open, a good place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Graysons Port Angeles – A Must-Visit Spot!

Graysons was hands down one of the best surprises of our trip to Port Angeles! From the moment we walked in, the cozy ambiance and friendly staff made us feel right at home.

We were a group of six and tried a variety of dishes — everything was expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The ingredients tasted fresh, and you could tell a lot of care went into each plate.

Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or a relaxed meal with friends, Graysons hits the perfect balance of quality, atmosphere, and service. Definitely adding this to our list of must-visit places whenever we’re back in the area. Highly recommend!

This place was awesome! I’m surprised it wasn’t packed full of people or a line waiting to order. It’s has a very relaxed atmosphere with great service and amazing food. I got the steak and eggs but asked for the salsa on the side, I was wrong to do so. The salsa was flavorful and added so much dimension to the plate. I love me some crispy hash browns and they were perfection! The biscuits and gravy dish was tasty but could’ve used some more meat in the gravy. I wish this breakfast spot was closer to home because I would be going back all the time.

Ambiance:
Spacious layout with soft cushion bench on two walls. A fair number of tables but not crowded. Relaxed vibe.

Service:
Friendly greeting at the counter. No issues ordering.

Food Quality:
Amazing food. Seasoned fries were sweet and salty. Burger buns were the perfect thickness and density. Sourdough bread had just enough of a chew to it. Pickles were craft or homemade. Sandwiches and fries were plenty big enough to split between two people. No complaints.

Value for Money:
Worth it. A kid’s meal and 3 adult dishes for $68 and we had no regrets.

Overall Experience:
Everyone should try this place. From start to finish they got everything right. Recommended

Very very good food. Both menu items ordered were excellent. Fries were perfect texture and well seasoned. Interior looks nice enough and has a very relaxed vibe. Atmosphere somewhere between coffee house and fast food and a casual restaurant.

Tried the Fried Chicken French Toast for the first time—easily the best fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had.

The Steak and Eggs Burrito was also incredible—hands down the best burrito I’ve ever eaten.

Better than anything I’ve found in the greater Seattle area (as a local resident).

They also own another fried chicken spot just down the road, which I highly recommend as well. 100% worth it!

I ate at Grayson’s for lunch last week while in Port Angeles for work and decided the burger was good enough for me to leave a review. Overall the experience here was excellent. The food is all cooked fresh-to-order so it takes longer to get your food, but it is definitely worth the wait. I would have loved to come back and try the breakfast, and if I ever find myself in Port Angeles again I will certainly return.
