Great tasting bone-in fried chicken! It has a little bit of spiciness to it and it is good! It would be better if they offered different flavors such as: spicy and non-spicy chickens. My kids would try the non-spicy ones for sure. Overall, it’s good fried chicken!

Best fried chicken I’ve had in a very long time. Fried to perfection and amazingly crispy! Not dry and not lacking with meat on the bone either. Also, the white cheddar Mac n Cheese is a must have. I was on vacation with family for a week and we just had to get it a second time before leaving, very glad we did! Customer service was great and they deliver. Also, I was surprised to see this place wasn’t on Google Maps, so I couldn’t go without adding it. People MUST know about this place, check it out. There’s also a location in Duck. And to the employees at The Cookshak, I hope to see y’all next year when I come back, I’ll be looking. Keep it up!

Listen this Chicken spot is the Real deal chicken was made to order fried fresh came hot out the grease and right to the plate the skinny is crunchy flavorful and omg was the chicken moist idk what they put in it but this chicken is good enough to go against and ir beat grandma’s anyway of the week I’m not playing either get it fresh and it right then and watch what I tell you.. and definitely get the White cheddar Mac you will nit be disappointed not in the slightest.

Super friendly worker/manager (red headed fellow). Chicken had very flavorful outside, somewhat bland inside. Atmosphere was simple, somewhat dated. I think there was only one very very hard working employee, however.

Ordered half a bird instead of getting a leg, thigh, wings and breast as advertised. I got 2 wings, leg and thigh. Chicken is good, fries a lil overcooked.
