Reviews
Edison Pizza has long been a staple in the Edison, NJ community. While the outside plaza may look a bit rundown, stepping inside reveals a well-kept, inviting space where the food truly shines.
I’ve enjoyed their pizza in the past, but this visit was special. Using a gluten-free app, I discovered that Edison Pizza offers gluten-free pizza—a big deal for my son, who has celiac disease. We visited as a family, and everyone ordered a variety of slices: pepperoni, BBQ chicken, Sicilian, along with some garlic knots. For my son, we ordered a gluten-free pizza.
The staff went above and beyond. The man behind the counter and his team were patient, helpful, and even brought the gluten-free pizza to our table, despite there being no waiter service at lunchtime. Their kindness and attention made the experience even better.
The regular pizza was delicious, just as I remembered, and the 12-inch individual gluten-free pizza was outstanding—crispy, flavorful, and very satisfying. My son loved it, which is not always the case with gluten-free options.
Overall, Edison Pizza continues to impress. Whether you’re looking for classic slices or gluten-free choices, this spot delivers both quality and great service.
Today, I ordered spaghetti and meatballs, which came out to $17. I wanted to see if I could get other sides besides the bread, but there were no other options-just spaghetti and bread. I later noticed that the menu I saw on Google stated it’s $12.50, not $17. I’m also unhappy that I had to pick up napkins and utensils from another restaurant since the food I ordered didn’t come with any. The big piece of bread I received was stale and hard so i ended up not eating it. In my opinion, paying $17 for two meatballs and pasta without anything else is a bit steep and was disappointing with my overall experience.
5***** restaurant with extremely moderate pricing. Check out their daily specials. We were on summer vacation a few years back and ran into Robs mom and dad in a small town, Carini. It made our trip so enjoyable. More than 50 years in Edison. Edison Pizza is a “go to” institution here. Cent’Anni!
