Fantastic and friendly environment! It’s surreal to experience the NOLA hospitality here with Lawrence. We were there when the kitchen was closed, yet Lawrence hosted us with one of the most amazing food I’ve ever had,namely the Gumbo. Also the other employees including the dog were nice as hell.

Excellent food, good prices, fast service, and a nice atmosphere. Came here for a conference and stopped in here for lunch the first day. Came back every single day after. It’s a 2 minute walk from the conference center, the service is quick, and they have all the New Orleans classics if you’re from out of town like I am and want to eat New Orleans food staples. They’ve got jambalaya (which was my favorite), po boys, gumbo, red beans and rice, muffuletta, all of it. Perfect lunch spot, highly recommend.

Labor Day Weekend 2023! This spot was across the street from our hotel. My friends found this place trying to grab breakfast one morning. Unassuming from the outside but a lot of love in the air on the inside. Everyone was courteous and accommodating. They had some of the best gumbo I had during my stay. I even ordered some to take home. I can’t wait to visit again.
