This is a hidden Gem in the Gem state, and city of Twin Falls. We traveled from Mountain Home to enjoy a custom made dinner in this restaurant. Yes custom made since this establishment will cook your own game meat. We dinned on some of our friends Goose and Pheasant harvest from this last fall. It was prepared in Low Mein, Sweet and Sour, Mongolian style along with Fried Rice and a Stir Fry Vegetable dish. It was incredible. The food was amazing, the service exceptional, and the atmosphere was a very pleasant Chinese inspired setting. I will try this place again for their traditional Chinese dishes, and I look forward to attending the custom dinner next year.

BEST YOU WILL FIND, ANYWHERE! My family and I have been going here for decades. It is just as good today as it was 20 years ago. We have been to Asian cuisine all over the United States and have yet to find a place as good as Peking. Food is always flavorful and fresh. The owners are like family to us. Always welcoming and make us feel at home. We make it a point to go to Peking any chance we get. You won’t be disappointed.

My 7 year old daughter only eats noodles. Ordered lo mein noodles without chicken or onions. It came out tasting like an awful chemical. My daughter said it tastes weird so as a mom I tried it and immediately spit it out. It was so bad! Waitress saw me and asked if everything was okay. I said the noodles taste like a chemical. She took the plate and off she went, my husband and I continued to eat our meals. After a long period of time I asked where is my daughter’s food, thinking they were just remaking it. I was told they wouldn’t remake it because without the onions and chicken it was going to taste like chemicals. Now we have ordered it this way almost weekly for a couple months and it’s never tasted that way. So I asked if we could have it made with everything in it and I will just pick out all the onions and chicken for my daughter who is very hungry. They absolutely refused to remake it period! Poor waitress was uncomfortable relaying this information so asked to speak to the owners. She came out and said no we won’t make a meal for your child. My daughter immediately started crying saying she was hungry and they refused to make food for my child.
This is just mind boggling to me! I don’t understand why or how people can treat paying customers much less a child so badly. To refuse feeding my child is absolutely outrageous!
Peking Chinese restaurant is definitely not a place I will revisit nor do I recommend this place.
As a business owner myself I would never treat customers or anyone the way we were treated. My daughter was hysterical and crying she was hungry and they literally didn’t care. It’s heartbreaking to me that owners would treat customers this way. I personally feel this was totally unacceptable. I just can’t make sense of it.

Pretty good place. It isn’t the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, but it can definitely hang with any really good Chinese restaurant. My wife and I had the family meal C (if I remember correctly), and everything was really good. The seafood soup had a strong smell, but the taste didn’t match the smell. It was absolutely delicious. I’ve never had a gelatinous soup, and it was great. Add some chili paste to take it up a notch. General Tso chicken was full of flavor, and the Mongolian beef looks like it’s going to have a strong soy sauce flavor, but it was mild, yet flavorful. The fried rice was not as oily as I’m used to, but it was great. I don’t think I dislike any fried rice though. LoL. I’ll definitely return. Great food, nice staff, clean and quiet environment. Would recommend to anybody.

One of my favorite places to eat. My love and I get the general tso’s chicken and it’s hands down the best in town. We like it to go and eat it at home. When we’ve had dinner inside the service is really good!

The food is good, but I have had a lot of different chicken chow mein dishes and it has never looked like this. It has a lot of onion, bean sprouts and a little bit of chicken. If you do not like onion stay away from this dish. Thankfully I actually like onion so it was okay. The rice is fine and the orange chicken has a little too much dough for me. The fried shrimp are delicious and the highlight of this #3 Combination Platter.

I really enjoy their food. It tastes pretty good. I am vegetarian. So I always get the the veggies with tofu and white rice. But, lately the last few times. My order has a small amount of veggies and maybe three pieces of tofu. And like two cups of the rice. What is up with all that rice !? I’m kinda bummed out about that. I’m not sure if they are trying to save money on cutting corners. I’m not too happy about that. I’m ordering the veggies with tofu and some rice. Not a rice dish. I’m not sure if I will return. It’s not worth it to pay for that.
