Update: We have returned a few times and tried the other menu items, the tostadas in particular are very good. You can’t go wrong.
Original: Came here after discovering this place on Tyler Cowen’s food blog and it did not disappoint. We tried the hal pastor torta and a few tacos, everything was excellent from the tortillas to the salsas. Very happy to find a good taco spot in the DMV, we’ve been struggling after leaving Cali. Will return!

THE BEST tacos I’ve had since I left California in 2014. I’ve been searching for legit tacos (especially lengua) forever.
We got the goat birria, lengua, carne asada, and hal pastor. My wife’s favorite was the carne asada, mine was a tie between the lengua and the birria. The hal pastor read kind of sweet, but with some salsa it was perfect.
We also got some churros which are SO. GOOD. Get them, and eat them fresh.
Everything was so flavorful and so perfectly cooked. Portions were good, and the salsas are awesome. Proper corn tortillas, and the cilantro, onions, and pineapple were fresh.
It’s kind of a nicer hole-in-the-wall place with counter service, as good taco places should be. It’s clean and well-maintained. Not a lot of seating inside, but they seem to have a robust pickup business.

Chicken tinga taco was delicious, and my hal pastor sandwich seemed a bit dry until I realized you can add meat. The sandwich was huge, and the hal pastor meat was juicy and full of good flavor. Incredible service too!

The food is so, so, so good. I got a few chicken tostadas as part of the $2 Thursday special and they were stacked and delicious. The tacos also did not disappoint, I cannot wait to try more of those.

Great food and great customer service! The location is okay outside of this beautiful Mexican food restaurant! Parking is not great. Hard to find a spot and hard to park when there are few delivery cars and other people’s cars are waiting to pick up their puck ups. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants! Light, refreshing and fresh ingredients! Thank you guys!

A taqueria with a pretty decent selection of tacos with pretty food prices. This place advertise halal prepared meals. Seats are pretty limited inside but there’s decent seating at the outdoor patio. Parking is pretty limited. Al.pastor and the beef birria are good. Carne asada is okay.

Ordered a birria taco 6/10 and mixed quesadilla 8/10. Food was good however it was too greasy for what I usually like. Good service, they gave us a free churro, that was nice of them.

I think its a different restaurant owner now, most of the food in the picture is not there anymore, food were okay and prices are relatively high for the portions, its not a bad spot for a casual night.
