Brought my first ever deer here for processing, and I had a great experience. The guys working the front desk were friendly, and when I dropped off the deer I was assured that my deer would be processed separate from all other deer, no sloppy mixed up meat
It took about a week and a half which I though was totally reasonably given I dropped off the day after opening day, and I could tell they were busy.
All of the cuts were vacuum sealed and clearly labeled, and looked beautifully done. Cooked up my first venison roast tonight and it’s 10/10 delicious. I also picked up some snack sticks on their suggestion and they too really tasty.
For sure I’ll be back next season!!

I do not recommend this place. Kane is unprofessional and not dependable. I shot my first deer ever and dropped it off for processing and a European mount in Oct 2024. I paid in full up front, and it was supposed to take 6-8 months. I received the meat, but as of Dec 2025, I still have not received my mount.
I spoke to him several times and initially he kept saying it’ll be 2 weeks every time we spoke. After that he said he’ll call me when it’s ready. I contacted him again 2 weeks ago and, again, he said he’ll let me know when it’s ready…it’s been 15 months.
He had no problem taking my money up front and my first kill, but has not followed through on his promise. Save your time, money, and frustration and do not bring your business here.

Great jerky sticks and a good hard working crew. Used Kane in the past for a Euro mount at his old shop and he does Phenomenal work in taxidermy. I also got a large perch and a wood duck mounted here. All three mounts still look wonderful years later. I wouldnt go anywhere else. I’ve also been overly impressed with his seasonings and spices for his jerkey etc. as well. Stop in and give this place a shot. You wont be disappointed .

The best cut of meats in town. The owner will also give you tips on how to store and cook the meat. We got the lamb chops and they were excellent. We will be buying all of our meat at Game Time Meats. Thanks Game Time and can’t wait for the cookouts this spring !

This local business is killing it! From processing of deer and any wild game to even livestock pigs/cows, they are so passionate and educated and there to give you a good product. Not to mention their grill out lunches now too! Stop by for the store and even get prepared meats, smoked meats etc too! The smoked salmon we bought was incredible. Definitely support this small business.

We visited this shop the last time we were in Holly visiting family from the East Coast. Their brats are some of the best I’ve had and their venison bacon is absolutely awesome! At this point, I am not sure we’ll be going back to Holly for family or for Game Time Meats!

Took my son’s first buck to gelhave mounted and after two years of waiting they give me a garbage bag with his stuff in it. I paid them in full and was only refunded $300 I wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone for anything the worst ever

Got my mount back, amazing work!
Started Great… but not so sure now.
I shot my first 8-point buck, which also happened to be my first harvest with a bow and first time calling a buck in, on November 1st 2023. Called GameTime Meats as soon as I got my buck loaded in the truck. It was after hours but Kane was still there and stuck around for me to drop it off.
He took his time with me in selecting my processing package and taxidermy selection, I never felt rushed which is a plus these days.
Processing turnaround time was decent given the amount of deer coming in. Cuts were great, packaging was perfect, Jerky is the best I have ever had. I was told my European mount would be ready by spring of 2024 since they utilize the beetle method and it takes a bit longer, this is understandable.
We are now nearing the end of September 2024 and the start of a new season and I have yet to receive my mount. I have called several times (monthly) and I am simply told “we are working on it”, “we got more than we expected”, “we had to get new beetles”, the list goes on.
Not once was I asked for my name, or my receipt number to check the status or give me an update that will make me feel they are trying.
I was lucky enough to harvest another 8-point elsewhere in Michigan on the firearm opener. I brought that buck to a different location and received the mount back 6 weeks later.
Without a doubt I recommend having your game processed here. But as of the time of writing this review, I advise taking your business elsewhere for taxidermy.
I will follow up on this review when/if I ever get my mount back.

Some of what they did with my husband’s deer was good. But MOST of what they did… They offered breakfast sausage. What we got was loose meat and frozen – expecting people to thaw, divide then refreeze. NEVER a good thing. The 1 lb pack of burger was well over a pound and frozen solid. Meat wasn’t cut/packaged evenly. Overall NOT a good experience.
