We decided to try Venezuelan food for the first time with all the news about Venezuela and hopes for a better future. So glad we did. Absolutely delicious, and great people too. We split a Venezuelan plate of black beans, savory shredded beef, plantains and rice. All perfectly seasoned and attractively served. And we had guava and melted cheese wrapped in pastry for dessert The whole food court here seems worth sampling (bring google translate if no Spanish). We saw Guatemalan, Salvadoran, Honduran, Mexican stalls and more. This is the cultural diversity that makes America great. I sure hope we never lose it.

I’ve had empanadas from at least 20 different Venezuelan restaurants, but these were easily the best. The owner was very welcoming, even offering to help me work on my Spanish a little. The server was wonderful and was working very hard.

I came here with a Venezuelano who walked away very happy, and we’re absolutely coming back. It really doesn’t get much better than this.
