Reviews
However now having had a meal from here, I would liken the reviews on here to be aligned with the story of the emperor’s new clothes. Was the food good, yes it was, was it value for money, no it definitely was not.
Make no mistake, you will be paying in excess of restaurant prices, for basically an above average takeaway. In my meal for example were inedible hard pieces of what I think was pickle, so was left feeling for the price paid, totally underwhelmed.
If people are happy to frequent this place in times of so-called austerity, then all I can say is crack on.
We have just had an amazing meal from here and would recommend to anyone
The establishment is so clean and welcoming, staff very polite and friendly, and although I turned up too early the food was ready for the time I asked for.
Delicious food and will definitely be having more curry’s from here
A++++++++++++++
Thank you very much
Decided to grab three Diet Cokes during pick up as an impulse purchase. £1.50 each which is pricey, but justified of course as they have to make money!
…. However I sipped the first one and was almost sick. Turns out all three are past their sell by dates. With that particular one over a year! (Other was 6 months or so).
Makes me wonder why the chap got them from the back rather than the visible drinks fridge behind the counter which easily had 20-30 in it.
Also makes you wonder if there’s similar practice with the food ingredients….
Keep up the good work Mo and team
