I absolutely loved this spot! I got the Beef Pho, and I certainly do not regret it. Our food came out after less than 15 minutes, and it was GOOD. The server was kind and the place was very clean. I would definitely come back!

Food was just okay, it was lacking in flavor — very fresh though. My husband got pho and the broth was good and balanced, however the brisket seemed old and flavorless and the meatballs tasted like they had gone bad. Vibes were good but they only get you so far. They do have nightly specials which could be cool for the bay view locals. I like spending money on delicious food so I’ll continue driving down to Chicago for Vietnamese.

We have been going to Hue for the last several years after moving to the area. It is one of our absolute favorite spots to dine and carry out. I will say the service can be meh, but we’re pretty lax on things like that. Our usual order is the shrimp summer rolls, beef pho, and seafood curry. Everything is always fresh and consistently high quality. Their menu is approachable for those who are not experienced with Vietnamese food as well, it is well worth trying if you enjoy Asian food!

The Hue food truck catered a private event at my home for 95 guests, and it was outstanding. The food was excellent, and everyone raved about it. They even brought little candy boxes for the kids. The owners were a pleasure to work with, both during the planning process and on the day of. Highly recommended for special event catering!!!

Food was “ready” for pickup but my partner had to wait an additional 20 minutes. I ordered beef pho with veggies (paid extra) and it wasn’t with the order. Also the fresh rolls are huge, not very tasty and as you can see in the photos…not wrapped well. You can find better for cheaper.

Got the Beef & Meatball Pho. It was good, but a little bit more pricy and lighter on the bean sprouts than I’m used to at other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Service was fine and I was with a group of 6 people total and they fit all of us in one area. I drink water/soda really fast at restaurants, so I wish they could’ve provided a bottle of water for us to refill our glasses vs waiting to ask for a refill. There’s easy to find street parking within a short walk on the side streets.
Overall, everyone enjoyed our food so if you’re in Bayview or nearby, come check it out! Also recommend for takeout!

First time in the new location and it’s brighter and more colorful, nice change. We were hopeful the menu had improved since in the old place there wasn’t much that was vegan and the prices were a bit high for what you got. I wanted to order the Vietnamese Curry with Tofu since it seemed to be vegan or could be made vegan (there were no little V’s or VEG icons on the menu to indicate what was what). Luckily, I mentioned I wanted it vegan when the waitress asked me which meat I wanted. She said the curry had fish sauce in it. She then went and retrieved a secondary menu at the front desk, handed it to me and said these were the only vegan dishes they had. There were about 7 dishes on it and two of them said they contained honey!!!! Um, NOT VEGAN. I laughed and asked why there were two non-vegan dishes listed in the vegan section of the special menu. The waitress hesitated and said, well, maybe some people consider honey vegan. I told her it was most definitely not vegan by any classification and they should take those off of their other menu. So I ended up ordering rice paper rolls with veggie meat and a non-alcoholic Pomegranate Sunrise. My companion ordered veggie meat beef skewers, Mì Xào (egg noodles with stir fried veggies) and a Basil Smash drink. The tiny cup of peanut sauce that came with my rolls was bland and no way could possibly cover the two rolls I received, but the rolls themselves were of good size and tasty enough. My companion said his order was just okay, but he wouldn’t order it again. The drinks were very good, though. So all in all, I’m glad we checked out the new digs, but we won’t be back.

A really nice lunch spot. There’s a kids menu, a bar, lots of seating in this sunny restaurant. The art on the walls (and ceiling) is awesome! Very clean bathroom, vegetarian options. We enjoyed our noodle bowls. Easy parking.
