This was an amazing restaurant here in Bonifacio. French haute quisine at a decent price point. The food was extremely tasty and the staff had a good recommendation for a wine pairing. You can tell that it is family run. Thank you for having us ❤️

As we wanted to try the traditional Corsican dishes, we checked the menus online and this place had all the food recommended by local guide. A nice touch was amuse bouche – truffle mousse. We had aubergine a la Bonifacienne, civet de sanglier and linguini a la truffe. We loved in particular the aubergine – it was really delicate. As the portions are very reasonable, we had space for desserts and we also tried the local specialities – the chestnut tiramisu (awesome), the fiadone cheesecake (awesome) and the pineapple carpaccio. We finished the lunch with the glass of a local liquor (mirto) and canisttrelli (offered by restaurant). If we add to the tasty food a nice service and a nice view – you can’t wish for more. Simply excellent.

Really good restaurant, food was very tasty and they pay a lot of attention to the presentation of the plate. We got lots of edible flowers in our dishes which was a lovely addition and made the plates full of colour. The service was very attentive and expended a fair amount of time explaining the menu, in French or English. Not fresh fruit juices, nor alcoholic free beers. The toilet was a deception, very small, not clean, messy and ugly, nothing to do with the kind of service they were providing.

Lovely restaurant, where the owner welcomes you and he is really friendly (he speaks perfect English as well). The food is amazing! and the atmosphere super cozy.
I ate the best lamb of my life here.
Location is just beautiful, at the citadel.

Came on the ferry and stopped in for lunch – great service and great food. The Aubergine a la Bonifaccienne was a must try and I really enjoyed the Boar Stew (Civet de Sanglier).

A very pleasant stay and some delicious food. The waiters were extremely polite, so it’s been very comforting. Even though it is pricy, the food quality and variety was amazing. All in all it’s been absolutely worth it and I can definitely recommend this restaurant. Especially for people who are enjoying some special French cuisine, this is a must visit.

It’s a nice restaurant, but I gave 4 stars because the menu was in French and the waiter did not speak English well. The rest has a beautiful view of the sea. My recommendation is to look ahead to outside prices, otherwise the food was delicious.

In the heart of Bonifacio’s medieval town lies Aria Nova, a restaurant serving Corsican-inspired cuisine with a modern twist. We tried the Aubergines à la Bonifacienne, Filet de Poisson du jour sauce au beurre blanc and Grosses Gambas Poêlées au gingembre confit, all made with fresh, local ingredients. The ambiance was Intimate and inviting, subtle background music that allows for conversation and stunning view of the cliff makes the perfect combination for a truly romantic experience. The service was the best, so genuine, the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness. If it’s not because I live in another country I would become a regular client at marvelous Aria Nova.
