Incredibly good food for a very reasonable price. I had the Curry Beef with Chowmein. Also one Roti Skin. Easily split into 2 meals for me. FYI, they do charge 3% to use Credit Card. But I totally agree and don’t mind.

Very good puri and shrimp curry. Very homemade. Also delicious baked goods, pine tart was not too doughy, not too sweet and had a soft yet flaky crust

Spent under $70 to feed 6, with enough left for two more meals.

Friendly staff, clean spot, and delicious food.

Casual setting in a food market, not fine dining.

Ordered by phone in the morning and it was warm and ready right on time in the afternoon.

Didn’t try the baked goods yet, but I’ll be back often and recommending it.

Hidden gem!

I love this place. I was put on about a year ago. I’ve always gotten the veggie dalpury wrap. With all the vegetables. It’s soo good. I also love their BBQ chicken. Tandoori chicken. Their curry chicken. I love getting their daily specials with chow mein. And today I decided to get the 3 veggie special with white rice amd a BBQ chicken w9th chow mein and I mixed them together. some how I’m still hungry.
Thank you to everyone that cooks here! The food is amazing. Unmatched the best. Healthy, flavorful, aromatic, simple. I love it. Thank you. Thank you for the hospitality and patience. Always.

I just don’t understand why the women at the counter have to be so rude. The food is just okay. A little salt could go a long way. The curry is watered down, the chicken is dry and the attitude from the staff is sour. These people act as if they are doing you a favor… like me come to beg a piece of bread. Im so glad I paid attention when my mother was cooking and baking…What’s the point of calling in your order, they give u time to pick it up.. you arrive at that time..and still have to waiy 30 mins to get something as simple as 6 roti skins. I will no longer be supporting a business that treats customers badly.

Very slow service, even when pre-ordered. Employees chatter incessantly rather than aiming to achieve overall better customer service.
Meat pies now are mostly crust. They have raised prices and the quality of the fare has been reduced drastically!

I’ve been a loyal customer of Sheikh Bakery for nearly 20 years, so it really caught me off guard when I bit into a spinach dish I bought and felt grains of sand in my mouth. The spinach clearly hadn’t been washed thoroughly, and that experience made it hard for me to keep eating.

Sheiks has been around for several years now and I’m glad it’s still standing.

The lunch specials are unbeatable – although if you are on a timed lunch scenario perhaps order ahead or go elsewhere, this is a loosely leisure lunch location meaning you’ll be spending quite some time here between waiting to order and getting your food and perhaps even waiting for a table (snag a table and have one person go up to order to secure a spot)

The doubles are delicious – although they have gotten skimp with filling and the sauces inside are only dabbed in center instead of drizzled over the chickpeas so you taste throughout all bites.

The lamb biriyani was the least favorite of our orders this time around – the lamb was flavorful but a bit dry and the kids didn’t enjoy fighting the meat off the bones.

The roti bread itself is ALWAYS on point and a definite must to order a few to go.

The lunch roti specials are just right – one of my kids had the chicken and highly enjoyed it.

I always get the vegetable roti – they ran out of potatoes and they where highly missed in the wrap, wish they would offered to have substituted another veggie for the lack of potatoes.

The goat roti was also very delicious and highly enjoyable.

They were our of local made drinks which was a bummer since all the other options where sugary commercial drinks.

Oh do try the house habanero sauce.

If you can spare the time, definitely give Sheiks a try, possibly the yummiest West Indian food in Pines.

The best recommendation I can share with the management is that the customer service can definitely improve (you can absolutely see preferential treatment towards the West Indian & Caribbean folks over others) – if someone not of aforementioned ethnic groups choose to bless your establishment by spending money there they should definitely get same treatment and food portions.

Good afternoon, we were at the store for lunch, & we had the vegetable chowmein, and came home about a half an hour later and it was spoiled, and didn’t seem fresh, and smelled repulsive. The service was good and the staff was kind but the food was not.

One of the best family-owned Trinidadian restaurants in Pembroke Pines. Exceptional customer service, welcoming and friendly staff. They assist in selecting food options. Affordable menu items, don’t miss the lunch specials! Check them out!
