Even though Bread and Cheese is closed in Oceanside due to fire, they were still able to accommodate my event from their catering location. We order 50 breakfast burritos and they were delivered on time with all types of different sauces. They were nice and hot upon arrival, in fact there were a few left at 11:00am and those were still warm. We ordered 35 with bacon and 15 without. All our attendees enjoyed them. I do recommend this restaurant and look forward to the location in Oceanside reopening. Five stars for atmosphere too because I have eaten at the location before the fire.

oh man, i’m not typically a breakfast person so i wasn’t going to order anything when we stopped to pick up something for my boyfriend, but i was intrigued by the use of garlic tots in the burritos so i ordered a classic. it was incredible. the crispy tots were such a nice addition and so yummy. i could only finish about half bc its a pretty big burrito and super filling. the smoothie and frappes they have are also so light and tasty. i’m back in AZ now and still thinking about breakfast here.

We stumbled upon this spot while looking for a quick breakfast, and it turned out to be a real hidden gem. We grabbed a grilled cheese and a Beyond Meat burrito to go, and both were amazing. Easily one of the best quick breakfasts we’ve had in Oceanside in a while. The French onion grilled cheese is a standout— super flavorful and definitely worth a try.

I have a lifetime of loving grilled cheese so you can only imagine my delight in finding Bread & Cheese Eatery! We got takeout yesterday because of time constraints but I was absolutely blown away with my Cali Gold sandwich and Coconut Curry Tomato Soup to dip it in. Beautiful, layered but not too complex flavors, all blending to an exceptional meal!! I’ll be back, frequently and with big smiles

I came for grilled cheese, and I got grilled cheese. The cheese pull was amaaaaziiing (attached video was my second pull as i was not expecting such a good cheese pull the first time). Sourdough was toasty and grilled.
I should have ordered the tomato soup.
Only comment on improvement is that the place smells like cleaning solution… which is good in theory… But the smell is kind of strong for me.

an amazing spot!! wonderful clean space, fast service, and the best grilled cheeses around! i loved the vegan grilled cheese and their coconut curry tomato soup is the best thing (especially for dipping grilled cheeses in)! i always try to get grilled cheese when im in the area & i hope they’ll open one near santa barbara! added bonus are original bread and cheese cartoon that are going, a fun watch while you’re waiting this is a very special spot, i have to come back to try the breakfast burritos next time!

Average grilled cheese. Soggy bread too much cheese. Also the soup tastes good but has shredded coconut in it which makes drinking the soup feel like drinking throw up. Will not be returning price vs amount and quality are not on par.
