swung by for an early lunch and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food. They had lots of options but I went with a chicken gyro. Everything looked fresh! The place was clean and the staff were friendly. This spot is so much better than fast food! Lots of dessert options as well!

So, this is my first time eating here. I always go to Queens SoulFood next door. Oh, what a treat I have been missing!!!The food was so so good. I got the yellow rice, jerk chicken, cabbage and macaroni. My plate was $20, but given the large size it was definitely reasonable. Really good food.

This food is better quality in the area. The curry chicken has been seasoned and very tasteful. The collard greens are fresh and not sitting around all day like some places do!! I was surprised to see that the food was still fresh looking close to closing!! I guess it means, the eat their own food.

I love this place so much!! I am a regular and the staff is so welcoming and patient and the food is sooooooooooooo good! I highly recommend! If you are new to Charlotte and you want some authentic dominican food and some soul food this is the place to be! The mangu, The arroz, The pollo, The sweet potatoes, The Mac n cheese, The flan(desert) and so much more! OMG it’s all on point I promise you!

I was working in Charlotte for a month, then finally I found this amazing place. My last 2weeks I ate here everyday. Food, service and staff polite and just as beautiful as the food served. Can’t wait to come back. GOD WILLING!!

The food here is amazing. The Mac and cheese tastes homemade. The chicken must be slow cooked because it’s extra tender. The rice is great. The portion size is also good so the price is worth it. I can eat it a few times since I’m a light eater. I’ve never been disappointed eating here. Try it out!

The food and service was ZERO STARS! My friends so spoke so highly of this place so we decided to patronize. We first placed an online order that was never received, called in and was told no one spoke English so they couldn’t help. i then switched to spanish and they confirmed they didnt have the order but I spent $40+ dollars so after speaking to online support I got and refund and we went in person. They spoke english with no problem when we arrived which made mw think they just didnt want our business. I asked for no onions and peppers and got them both in abundance. My food was cold and my friends that recommended the place also did not enjoy his normal meal.

I was served collard greens that are not fresh. I called to complain and the woman at the store tried to tell me it was fresh when i could clearly see it was not. I told her i would be returning for my refund. Hopefully I get it or I will be going above them. CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE COOKING AND SERVING IT. There is no way that you could’ve missed this. You have to clean and cut them before cooking. It is blatant that this was ignored and cooked anyway. Shame on this establishment. You better hope and pray I don’t get sick!
