Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

If I could rate this less I would. Employees friends decided to pay a visit . Already waited almost 15 minutes for a basic #1 menu order. Suddnly noticed the ones who walked in with the friends got therir order and I still sat waiting. Finally went to say something only to turn around and see the employees friend smirking and laughing. The employees name was Caereon or something like that from a quick name tag glance. After asking if I’d been helped for a third time I was told they’re “waiting on fries”. Pretty sure her friends fries were nice and fresh while I sat waiting. Third bad experience at this restaurant and I’m done giving second chances. Contacting Whataburger’s corporate hq in the morning. This DM is not good at keeping his enployees in line. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! In n out is right across the street. Cheaper and 1000x better customer service. You can thank me later

EUCLIDES T is the bomb, him and his staff always go above and beyond. with the service is always humor and it makes the visit that much more personable, thank you for being the manager you are at this location, your eye for good service and hot and fresh food doesn’t go unnotice, thank you! It’s been a while since I’ve eaten here. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. Now the but, my wife ordered the chili cheese fries. Big disappointment it was just ground up beef with no flavor and super dry. I asked why so dry and if could have a bit more but with some consistency. I was told that’s how it’s made. . They did give me a little more on the side me thinking it would be a little more juicy but no same thing. The funny part is that it tasted like chorizo. The burgers were ok a little short on the toppings but ok . My side of fries were extremely salty didn’t even eat them. So over all it’s probably a hit n miss type of place to eat.

Really disappointing experience. The employees were openly miserable and rude, which set the tone immediately. The fries were soggy and cold, the burger was sloppy and honestly tasted gross, and despite paying extra for bacon, it wasn’t included at all. There were also some unprofessional comments made during the order that made me uncomfortable. Not what I expect from Whataburger, and definitely not worth the money.

We were the first car in the drive thru at 4:44pm on a Friday evening. We didn’t get our food until 5:12pm. We waited nearly half an hour for 4 burgers/sandwiches and 2 shakes. This size of an order doesn’t seem too large so it was bizarre to have to wait so long. Multiple times I tried to waive down a staff member instead of honking which would only stress everyone out.
When I finally got someone to help they replied “I don’t know what’s taking so long.”
Through a process of talking to them and waiting more, we learned that the manager was making the food and could not come to talk to us.
I expressed my frustration as I had small children in the car who needed food. When I asked for a refund I was told that was not possible. When I got my food I insisted that I speak with the manager. When they finally showed up I asked for a refund or a coupon for a free meal. She replied that they would take my food back if I was refunded, and that they “don’t do free meal coupons.”
When asked to make it right, she began to hand write a message on a receipt. Since I had places to go I left without the scribbles. Throughout the entire ordeal, I could see that orders were being completed and handed out to the lobby.

This has been my worst experience with Whataburger, and one of the worst fast food experiences ever. I am incredibly frustrated with the lack of communication, and staff members who were not willing to listen. These team members were severely unprepared for this situation. While our food was decent enough, the frustration with these employees has dissuaded me from coming back. I recommend looking for food somewhere else, it’s simply not worth the hassle.

i was picking up an order for door dash with two workers in the front the first being a younger guy with brown hair and the other being a girl with black hair and glasses and while waiting for my order, the man asked me if I was still waiting and turn to the kitchen and yelled “ these wetbacks need to work faster”. I was caught immediately off guard by this random white guy dropping slurs in front of a stranger and clearly i wasn’t the only one the girl replied to him right after saying he just can’t say thing like that with him quickly responding after saying that he doesn’t care and started coming saying things about his manager that was not there again using the slur on him with the girl joining in on the bashing whispering it also, while being right in front of me. to experience this type of behavior in any setting, let alone a restaurant is extremely disappointing .
I strongly urge management to address this issue immediately through proper accountability and training.

WhataCustomerService most definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First time at this Brand New location.

The building and layout seems to be function and appealing to the eye!

Beautiful design scheme and interior color pallet!

I noticed that they have a ton of staff working.

We spoke to a manger, he was very informative, knowledgeable, made some good recommendations, and provided overall Amazing Customer Service.

Now onto the food we ordered the double burger, patty melt, fries, and drinks.

The double Burger honestly for us lacks the flavor we expect from a burger. It was on the dry side, but it was BIG and expensive!

The patty melt surprisingly was delicious . Great ratio of cheese to meat. It was also expensive!

The fries are thin and average at best.

We ordered the XL drink , Holy Cow it’s so big that you can swim in it!

Let’s talk about the Value, EXPENSIVE!!!

$20 for a burger, patty melt one fries, and a drink!!!

What I did like a lot was their Spicy Ketchup and Creamy Pepper sauce!

I used the drive through service. My order was taken by a young man, and it was his first day on the job.He did a great job.
Polite, and personable. I ordered a new burger off the menu. It was good, but I prefer a double cheeseburger with jalapeño and onion rings.
I dont live in AZ anymore, but Whataburger is my favorite burger joint.
