The staff didn’t pay attention when taking orders.
This restaurant is located in the high end area. On top of that, the price is not cheap, yet the washrooms are extremely dirty. Both male and female toilet bins were full with tissue papers. One toilet bowl was full of tissues! They did not bother to clean the toilets for more than one hour!
I do not recommend this restaurant at all.
Chicken tikka was fairly okk, but malai tikka was a shock. Originally , Malai tikka being soaked in malai to retain soft texture, their malai tikka was a disaster. The chicken was so hard to be chewed or wood like texture to be cut by knife even. Uploading the video.
When showed to the server, she came back with an answer from chef that yes the chicken was over roasted by mistake.
Shockingly, they did not offer any replacement or exchange. Looking at the food quality, we decided to wind up n leave.
When the bill came, shamefully they had charged full amount for the faulty dish .
Chicken tikka n malai tikka came out with amount of 45$. With a learning experience, i paid the bill n wowed to the hospitality of the restaurant.
I will never go again but uploading a video for you to decide what u wish to do.
As for the food, the Daal Makhani lacked flavor and was disappointing. On the other hand, the Paneer Lababdar was good. Overall, I felt that the meal was not worth the cost, especially considering the cost.
The restaurant’s ambiance was decent, but it did not compensate for the high prices and ordinary service.
In comparison to other restaurants in the area, Tikka Junction falls short. Other places may charge similar prices, but they usually offer the same quality food and of course, won’t charge for water. I expected more from a restaurant charging such high prices. Unfortunately, Tikka Junction did not meet those expectations.
I would not recommend Tikka Junction to others looking for good value and quality in the Niagara region. There are better options available that provide both at a better price.
My partner and I spent our long weekend in Niagara, and dining at this restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip. The food was perfectly amazing and delicious, each dish bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. From the appetizers to the main courses, every bite was a delight.
The drinks were mind-blowing, with a great selection of cocktails and beverages that perfectly complemented our meal. The mixologists really know their craft, creating drinks that are both visually stunning and delicious.
The atmosphere was inviting, with a beautiful setup that made our dining experience even more enjoyable. It’s definitely a must-visit spot in Niagara, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for fantastic food, excellent drinks, and a great overall experience.
Let’s start with appetizers. The restaurant boasts “Tikka Junction,” but be prepared to be served one of the worst tikkas you’ll ever have! I’m not joking — check out the picture I took of it — subpar presentation and rubbery paneer. Chaat Paapri was equally pathetic, served with watered down chutney and raita. At this point, we started to doubt our decision to dine here. Before the mains arrived, we were served Chicken Biryani, which wasn’t appealing at all — completely cold to the touch with leg pieces just scattered on top. We decided to cancel the rest of our order after this.
The service was equally subpar. There were only two servers, and I suspect the male server was also our cook. The tables were dirty, and when asked to clear them, the female server’s attempt was inadequate. The “call” buttons on the tables were also broken, so it took 10-15 minutes to get someone to your table after seating.
This place gave us the notion that the servers are tabling old food by just reheating it in the microwave. The only justification I can give for the previous good reviews is.. I guess everything tastes good after you’re a few drinks in right 😉
On top of that, the customer service was really poor. The staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful, and it took way too long just to get my order. Definitely not worth the money — I wouldn’t recommend this place.
And they offer paper towel instead of tissues and they give you water in takeout platic glasses
