Love love love this place! Burritos are to die for! Highly recommend the carne asada breakfast burrito. There is outside seating and plenty of parking. Located right on the corner so it’s an easy to find location. Friendly service. Food is so good! Salsa is fantastic! My mom always says that you can judge the way the food is going to taste by how good the salsa is and I feel like that theory holds up.

They make you stand in the heat while waiting for your order , maybe putting some umbrellas or a tarp for shade would be great . You sit on the plain heat they should care more about the customers , you can’t even dine in here …… my burrito also came apart the minute I opened it I’ve seen other people also complain about this problem on here

I don’t usually write reviews but this local business has been a staple for me for years and I had such a great experience today that I thought they deserved a 5 star review.

The employee who is often working the counter is incredibly kind, friendly, attentive, and genuinely one of the best of the best. I know that might sound odd to praise a cashier so highly, but genuinely he deserves it. Every time I come here his cheerful attitude and humor can put a smile on my face even if I’m having a bad day.

One of the wonderful memories of growing up in Santa Paula and the Ventura County area are those wonderful Mexican restaurants that serve those wonderful, mouth watering corn burritos that Ventura County is famous for .
I’ve had multiple opportunities to dine at Corrales Mexican Food To Go over the last thirty years. I have wonderful memories of getting corn burritos with my Dad and brother.
Recently, I had another wonderful dining experience with those ever so incredible and delicious corn burritos with my niece and nephew, brother , sister-n- law, and mother.
Excellent and wonderful dining experience with those incredible corn burritos that Ventura County is famous for.
Thank you Corrales! I always look forward to the corn burritos here

Food is great. Huge, delicious portions. Super friendly staff and reasonable prices. Only thing is: as someone who is on the larger side, the outdoor seating was a little difficult but it had a very minor impact on the experience. I will definitely return in the future and recommend to all my friends!

SALTY

The nostalgic silhouette of what looks to be a former Taco Bell spot has left me with dehydration and a sodium injection for the rest of the year. It used to be a place I enjoyed to get chicken tacos, Chile rellenos, cheese enchiladas, rolled tacos and the SALSA, Oh the Salsa. EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT THE SALSA. I don’t know what happened but it’s saltyy. I judge a place by it’s Horchata and it makes a lot of sense that they serve Ole fountain style.
Okay, let’s talk burritos. I waited all day to have a glorious burrito, but what I paid $17 for was not it. $12 for a base burrito, adding sliced avo $3 (I got a dollop of GUAC NOT SLICED AVOS) $2 per Tbs of Sour Cream (I could have bought a dollop of Daisy). I didn’t get a good bite of meat until midway, but when I did it was OLD SALTY MEAT. Not freshly made with love . HEARTBREAKING that we threw them away and spent almost $40 after tax….

Don’t expect free chips or customer service here either, just salt. Shoulda went next door.

7+ years ago this chili verde burrito used to be like $4-5 and it was really skinny but it was just the right amount to have one or two and you’re full fast-forward 2024 my God the price is now $11 plus for burrito, but was I in for a surprise it’s almost 1 pound burritos now so it’s like eating four burritos when you order two fresh superb the sauce is great same flavor. I remember eating these weekly when I used to live in California , Now every time I come back, to visit I try it and I’m not disappointed. Awesome job guys keep it up the great work . 5 stars

What a great little place for some Mexican food. I was there about 11 am, it was not super busy. Friendly service, food was served quickly. Bean tostado was good, pilled high with lettuce and cheese. Chicken taco was also pulled high with lettuce and cheese, but had great big chunks of well seasoned chicken. I sat outside (no indoor seating) and enjoyed the beautiful weather while I grubbed. Easy 5 stars from me

Mostly I’m adding a review so I can upload a pic of their menu since there aren’t any recent ones. I love their burritos and nachos. It’s definitely not classy and their service is very mediocre. The big guy who works the window couldn’t care less whether you’re there or not. Wait times are surprisingly long sometimes. That said, I still go back.
