I was excited to introduce my friends to this restaurant after having great meals during the fasting season. Unfortunately, our recent visit fell short of expectations. While the food was once exceptional, our latest experience was less than average, and considering the price, it didn’t live up to what we had hoped for.
I appreciate the effort that goes into the menu, but consistency is key. I hope the restaurant can return to the high standards that initially impressed me. I would love to see improvements, as I really want to support a place with such potential!

This Ethiopian restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious — rich flavors, beautifully presented, and perfectly spiced. You can really taste the authenticity in every dish.
The atmosphere was vibrant, with great live music that added so much to the experience. . The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Their hospitality truly stood out. And most of all Mulushewa is an awesome guy very humble. We love you Mulushewa .
Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy amazing Ethiopian restaurant in a welcoming and lively setting. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Great experience at this spot! The food was delicious—highly recommend the veggie combo and the truffle fries. The atmosphere is lively but relaxed, perfect for both a casual dinner and grabbing drinks afterward. The bar has an impressive selection of cocktails, and the bartenders really know their stuff. I used to frequent this place last summer but I am very disappointed with the service I received last night. I came in around 9:15pm and order a sambusa and awaze tibs. My sambusa didn’t come by the time I finished my meal but they still tried to charge me for it??? (I was there for 30minutes by this point) I also did not get napkins and had to wait 10+ minutes for water. The server was more interested in talking to the two guys on the side bar than anything else.

I love the place! It is so clean ! The server are polite and have good smile with eye contact! The food is so delicious! I love the Jazz night on Friday to Sunday! The band is so great! They are so professional! The light is so beautiful! The toilets are clean and the place smell good! The candles on each table give amazing glistening light to the band and all customer attention to the music and I love the crowd too! In General my 5 senses enjoy it!

I waited almost 25 minutes for my first drink. When I inquired about with the bartender I ordered from, she stated that the other bartender had to make it. In addition I put in an order for chicken wings and after waiting again almost 30 minutes only to find out that the order was never submitted! I will not go back.

Extremely enjoyed the food and Abdu Kiar’s performance( the two other singers and the band which included Abegaz were amazing too); however, the DJ played the music too loud afterwards and ended up giving us tinnitus. Literally, our ears were ringing for hours. We came there to have fun not to lose our hearing.
In addition, please someone let the DJ know that Ethiopians go to Ethiopian places to enjoy Ethiopian experience, mainly the food and music. I understand some people may have a preference for the kind of music the dj kept playing but at least try to incorporate Ethiopian music. Com’on, we have beautiful culture and music we can enjoy, not the loud nonsense the DJ kept playing.
Finally, the food was great and fairly priced. But the drinks were overpriced, especially when you add 20% service fee on top of that and the gratuity. To the owners, when customers feel they overpaid for any service they tend to shop around and never go back to patronize. Keep it nice and fair please.

I went to this restaurant with my sister yesterday for lunch. The food was delicious and the waitress was very pleasant actually very very polite But, the guy at the bar was rude and plays music very loud @1pm. We had to change our seats away from the middle section. what a mixed experience.
