The food is absolutely excellent here! Great selection of dishes. The drink menu is excellent! The best spicy margaritas, lots of flavor. The decor is beautiful. Service can be a bit slow sometimes, especially when busy. However, the staff are extremely friendly and the food more than makes up for the wait.

Such a great addition to Torrington! Beautiful decor, delicious food. The chicharrones guacamole was incredible. Al pastor was tender and moist, house made salsa rojo, verde and habanero were fireeee! We aren’t drinkers so I can’t advise on that, but the lemonade was one of the best I’ve had. Will definitely be back! Great job guys and many years of success to your family.

My wife and I stopped by La Casa de Los Huesos for the first time yesterday for lunch, and we were thoroughly impressed. The food was outstanding, full of flavor and clearly made with care, and the drinks were just as good. The service was excellent, attentive without being overbearing, and the ambiance was truly phenomenal, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. We’re very glad we gave this place a try and will absolutely be back.

Food was fresh, authentic, and atmosphere was cozy and inviting. We will definitely be back! We had the Prime Beef Short Rib in 2 moles, Enchiladas de Mole (pictured here, and Chicharrón con Guacamole for an appetizer. The menu is easy to navigate and I love that everything has a photo as well. Can’t wait to try their breakfast menu!

We ordered the guacamole and Totopos to start, Absolutely delicious with their homemade salsa and homemade Guacamole! For Entree I had the Birria rice Bowl. Braised short rib cooked to perfection and the classic house margarita was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The kids chicken fingers are homemade and the shoestring fries are delicious. Finished this lunch off with the coconut risotto pudding and some cinnamon churros! Sadly, there aren’t any lunch specials. Lunch prices are the same as dinner prices. THe quality of food is definately worth the price though.

This restaurant has a great atmosphere and the service is solid, but unfortunately the food is where everything falls apart. I’ve honestly never had Mexican food that lacked flavor to this extent—even home-cooked meals have more seasoning and balance than what’s coming out of this kitchen.
The bar doesn’t fare any better. A simple Old Fashioned was poorly executed, the margaritas were unpleasantly bitter, and the mixed drinks ordered by others at the table were equally disappointing. These are basic cocktails, and missing the mark on all of them is hard to overlook.
I gave this place three chances, hoping things would improve, but each visit was worse than the last. At this point, it’s clear they need a more competent chef and bartender to match the otherwise good atmosphere. I won’t be returning.

Friendly, accommodating staff.
Got handed the menus and they’re were iPads! I thought that was pretty cool. I ordered the quesabirria and it was so delicious I could eat this all day everyday. I love this place and I know you will too!

Absolutely delighted with this new addition to downtown’s restaurant scene! Food was fantastic, the staff were friendly and very helpful, and the updates they’ve done to the decor are lovely. Especially thrilled that the staff were very helpful in regard to my food allergies, double checking ingredients and such.

I ordered a takeout meal expecting what the website states it includes. That’s not what I got. I was also given & charged for an add on I declined.
When I called stating that I did not receive the beans listed as part of the plate & that I did not want the add-on that I received, I was told “there’s nothing we can do” & as I began to reiterate their responsibility to accurately represent what they’re serving,
I WAS HUNG UP ON.
Decent food but the owners are RUDE.
Go somewhere they’ll be respectful & grateful for your business.
