Visiting family from out of state, we had a large party with a fussy toddler and a spice sensitive elder – our server was so patient and attentive. He was kind in the midst of our mayhem. Food was delicious (steak molcajete) and we were served quickly. The manager came to offer spice- sensitive mom more options (even ice cream for free). Could not imagine better service and care. And the best meal I’ve had in a while too.

Let’s be real, there are no shortages of Mexican restaurants and coffee shops. Some are better than others, rarely are any “bad,” and Puera Grande certainly isn’t bad. It’s not the best, but it was good. Not a huge fan of the salsa but everything else tasted fine.

Mexican food was MEH the recipes need to be updated. Taco meat is over seasoned and tasteless, no salsa can overcome the blindness. Please, please visit home and bring back authentic tasting Mexican food.

Walked out before even ordering. The salsa taste like Taco Bell sauce, and the waiter is absolutely rude! I don’t know if he doesn’t like white people, but the guy featured in the video had the worst attitude ever. The waters almost ended up in my lap as he slammed the glasses down on the table. It was at that point my wife and I decided to leave! I won’t be back. I should have listened to the reviews and stayed away.

Horrible service and food. The salsa was nasty, and the food was lukewarm and flavorless. The waiter just took down notes and kind of threw my plate on the table, and barely said a word. If you think this is decent mexican food, you’ve never really had mexican food. Taco bell serves better food than this.

I’m a truck driver, who goes all over the country and love Mexican and Tex Mex food. These were some of the best Seasoned chicken fajitas I’ve ever had and that is no exaggeration. Service was fantastic as well. Would be a regular if I lived in this area.

Whether we eat in the restaurant or get take out the food here is always great and the service is fast. Everyone who works here is very friendly too. It’s overall the best restaurant in Winchester right now! If you haven’t tried it yet then you definitely should.

I’m so glad I discovered this place! Their 2.50 margaritas special is incredible! And don’t get me started on their burritos! I ordered the burrito Jalisco and its easily a 2 person meal. For sure going to make this a weekly spot to visit and my favorite Mexican restaurant in Winchester.
