Please stop giving this place negative reviews. I read so many negative reviews about this place. The food was hot, fresh, seasoned and cooked to order and on time!!! I am a first generation Texan who grew up on Louisiana fried catfish and this is the closest to Louisiana fried catfish you are going to get in Dallas. I read the menu online before I came in, so please make sure to look at the menu ahead before you arrive. There is no menu displayed on the outside wall, but you may get a peep of the menu from the counter when you order. This is not a specialized order place. It’s simple catfish steaks catfish fillets, pickles peppers and fries. Rules are not overwhelming. This place is rolling if you are picky and nitpick this is not the place for you. Mr. Blue told me what time to be back to pick up my order and as soon as I walked through the door they called my number, I waited 15 minutes. He’s senior in age been running this place for a lifetime you can tell. Be polite know what you want place your order be back on time and you will see this is really great catfish. I asked for no seasoning on my fries and In one of my baskets, I got seasoning no big deal somebody I was with loved this seasoning. Nothing to complain about. Place is cash only and they close at seven. I hope you enjoy just as much as I did. Also there is no TIP JAR if you feel like he doesn’t need your money he’s doesn’t. I drove from Richardson and my food was still hot when we got home. Enjoy!!!

The fish is flavorful, always cooked to order and comes with a good helping. I always get the ” the special” 2 catfish filets, fires, bread, pepper, pickle ketchup, tarter sauce. It used to be $6, then $8 and this year in 2025 it’s $11 for the basket for those who haven’t been in awhile. The line gets long, but the fish is good. Take out only. You need to know what you want when you get to the register you get a ticket go to your car and they will call you when it’s ready. No waiting inside the store.

jailhouse justice center. All the rules paced all over the walls. His lady employee told me to stand against the wall while I was the only customer inside. I see people come and go while picking up their order. But my goodness this will be my last return. He’s so mean. I guess having a fish place in the hood makes you have an attitude. There are other good fish places that will treat me like a valuable customer. This man doesn’t need my money or anyone else’s money who feels like I do. The only thing that is missing out of this place is the handcuffs and prison bars. Because inside you will feel like you stepped into Louisiana state catfish prison

Hit and miss with this place. I ate here a few weeks ago around lunch time and the fish was fried very good and it was piping hot. I tried it again on a Saturday and the old man who runs the place was alone doing the cooking and handling the counter as well. The food was super greasy and the fish was overcooked and so crunchy that it was falling apart when I bit the ends. Ill try again another time before giving up on them.

Why do y’all keep giving money to this establishment..seriously? I went and I have never been treated so poorly as a customer in my life. I was truly flabbergasted at the horrendous customer service. The catfish is greasy as all get out anyways. It’s clear these people are only running this business for a check. They do not care about their customers.
