The old blonde lady with glasses who thinks she’s in her twenties is absolutely disgusting. She’s wiping down the counters and tables and then she decided to make my ice cream without wearing gloves. I requested a cone that is dipped and I find it very disgusting that her hands were touching the actual part of the cone. This place needs to review their standards if they have any. If you’re in the mood for ice cream you will be sickened. I’m surprised these guys are still in business and I hope this employee is an anomaly and hopefully not the owner.

Tired of ordering a Blizzard from this store and I get a Tablespoon of toppings and then 3/4 vanilla ice cream. Not even the fudge topping gets down, so mixing is terrible. Have also ordered double toppings before and don’t get anything extra, despite paying extra.

Good neighbors place to go for cold and frozen treats. Service seems friendlier and faster than some other DQs I’ve visited. Good sized parking lot and easy access from I 25 or 120th Street.

I ordered a Medium Mint Oreo Blizzard with Chocolate ice cream. Only to taste it and ask the employee (Somewhat short hispanic male with glasses, short hair and lines cut into his haircut. Didn’t see his name tag ) if it was in fact Chocolate ice cream. Which he responded, “Yeah it is. It’s lighter for some reason.” then I said, “You’re sure this is chocolate? It doesn’t taste like it whatsoever.” To which he replied, “Yes that’s chocolate.” As I ate my blizzard I was perplexed as the entire thing tasted like a cookies and cream Blizzard with no Mint or Chocolate ice cream to be found. Needless to say it was made completely wrong and the employee lied to my face. Do not recommend this location.

Update 07/07 – Spoke to the General Manager who had zero empathy whatsoever. Instead, she brings the fact that my dog put her paws on the counter right when we left, yes, obviously as I said, she is a SERVICE dog and knew I was getting very aggravated. No empathy for the situation at all but to try and put the blame on me – obviously the dog is going to react in situations like that – that is exactly what she is trained to do. To detect high immediate stress. Will NEVER return and will file a complaint with the state. Why don’t you train your incompetent employees who were questioning me for an ID like cops.

I’m writing this review to express my concern about a troubling experience I had at this Dairy Queen location involving my service dog on 07/05/2025 at 5:35PM. Upon walking in, one of the employees—a teenage worker at the counter—immediately asked me for a service dog ID. I calmly informed him that under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), it is illegal to ask for documentation or ID for a service animal. Despite this, he continued to insist on seeing proof, even after I attempted to show the other man at the register the exact law to help educate him and avoid further issues for others in the future.
At no point was I rude, loud, or confrontational—I simply tried to explain the law respectfully. His response was dismissive: “Please don’t do this, sir.” Frankly, I found that reaction inappropriate and unprofessional. I wasn’t trying to escalate—I was trying to help. Had this happened to someone else, especially someone who didn’t feel comfortable speaking up, this could have easily led to a lawsuit or ADA complaint.
Service dog laws exist for a reason, and businesses are responsible for training their staff to follow them. This was not only a disappointing interaction—it was a clear violation of federal law. I strongly recommend this Dairy Queen location provide immediate ADA compliance training to its employees to ensure no one else has to go through this kind of experience.
Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) – 28 CFR § 36.302(c)
Under this law:
“(6) A public accommodation shall not require documentation, such as proof that the animal has been certified, trained, or licensed as a service animal.”

This DQ is THE worst in the area. I literally watched more than 20 customers go in and out with their order before they could fill 1 online order(incorrectly). Not to mention claiming they didn’t have plastic serving dishes…Curious on what they serve their premium treats in? So do yourself a favor and stick with the DQ on 287 in Broomfield.

Went in to get a chillie cheese dog. Two young adults served me and were so polite and helpful. They didn’t have a name tag but it was on memorial day Monday at 2:30. They were a young lady and young man. Would recommend going when they are working.
