I tried calling to get the servers name so I could give her a shout out. She was very nice. She is usually the one that always takes care of us and always goes the extra mile. She’s very sweet and professional. She also went out of her way to be so kind and keep our card we left after dinner, sometimes you can’t find this anymore so it’s good to know there are still great people out there! Thank you for being such a kind person! The food is always amazing!

I even called prior and asked, very nicely as not to offend, if they could please not send chewy, unflavorful chicken and she was apparently offended. She quickly stated they cook their chicken on the grill….. okay..? yay! that’s fantastic but a little salt or seasoning does a lot of good.. and less time on the grill. Small bowl full of broccoli, awful chicken and Alfredo sauce that was as bad as the rest of the food. I won’t give Niki’s a 3rd chance, what happened to this place? Your food was wonderful years ago.

I don’t usually write reviews, but Luigi’s absolutely deserves the spotlight. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with that warm, comforting aroma of real Italian cooking that sets the tone for the entire experience. The staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do—but let’s talk about the real star of the show: the Alfredo.
Hands down, this is the best Alfredo I’ve ever had. Rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned without being too heavy—it’s the kind of dish that makes you slow down and savor every bite. Whether you get it with chicken, shrimp, or just classic fettuccine, the sauce clings beautifully to the pasta, and the portion sizes are generous without going overboard.
What really blew me away, though, was how good it still was the next day. I usually find leftover Alfredo turns into a thick, clumpy mess, but not at Luigi’s. I reheated it and it was just as silky and flavorful as it was fresh. That’s when you know the ingredients and technique are top-tier.
If you’re anywhere near Luigi’s, do yourself a favor and try the Alfredo. It’s the kind of comfort food that makes you wish you found the place sooner.

As someone born and raised in New Jersey, I take Italian cuisine—especially pizza—very seriously. The East Coast is known for its authentic, flavorful Italian dishes, and pizza is practically a way of life. So when I relocated to Texas, I came with very low expectations when it came to finding anything that could compare. That’s why I was thrilled when I stumbled upon a local gem—Luigi’s. The first time I tried it, I was honestly impressed. The pizza was flavorful, the crust was on point, and everything had that comforting, old-school Italian taste I’d been missing. Still, I held off on writing a review because I like to see consistency before I fully endorse a place.
Unfortunately, I’m glad I waited. Somewhere along the way, Luigi’s hired a new cook—and the quality took a nosedive. I recently ordered a pizza and lasagna for a family dinner, and what we received was beyond disappointing. The pizza was badly burned, and the lasagna looked more like a bowl of cheese soup than a hearty, layered dish. I couldn’t understand why something in that condition would even be allowed to leave the kitchen. My family and I were hungry and ready to eat, only to open the boxes and feel completely let down. I called the restaurant to express my concerns and was told I needed to send proof, which I did. To their credit, they apologized and sent someone out with a replacement pizza.
Sadly, the replacement wasn’t much better. While this one wasn’t charred, it was unevenly cooked—undercooked cheese in the center and a crust that was once again overdone. It’s such a letdown to watch a restaurant with potential decline like this. I genuinely wanted to love Luigi’s and support them long-term, but after multiple disappointments, my family and I have made the difficult decision not to return. If you’re in the area and looking for a solid, consistent New York-style pizza experience, I recommend giving New York Pizza & Pasta a try. It’s not quite the Jersey slice I grew up with, but it’s definitely the best and most reliable we’ve found in Texas so far.

Had been hankering for a spaghetti for a good minute and today was the day! Came in for a dinner and was convinced to get “the works” since the meat sauce is just beef ( I don’t eat pork) DELICIOUS! Definitely killed the craving and I would be happy to come back and try the tiramisu I had my eye on but had no space due to how meat/mushroom heavy the sauce is. Definitely is a filling meal might even be enough for two people to share /split with another dish. Hubby was happy to liberate the sausage and the meatball which are a blend of beef and pork. His dish of the pasta trio was also delicious. Lasagna also just beef. Was happy to have so many beef only options.

I order thru doordash so I can’t really comment on the service or atmosphere, but the food I did order was good. First time ordering rom this place so just kept it simple with a pizza and lasagna. The pizza was good. For a hand tossed the crust wasn’t very thick and the chess to sauce ratio was a little in favor of the cheese, which i enjoy. And the lasagna was pretty tasty. Most places put alot of seasoning into the sauce but they kept it simple. I do believe we will be ordering from here again.

First order on Uber after many recommendations, and was so impressed! Food was delicious, still hot (not just lukewarm) and there is so much this will be at least 3 meals! Have not been to the restaurant in person but delivery person Brandy from the restaurant was so kind and communicated quickly! Will definitely be ordering again!

I’ve been to Luigi’s Restaurant multiple times, and the front desk experience has been consistently unpleasant. The woman working the front is rude and unprofessional. On one visit, I witnessed her taking her frustration out on other staff members, which was uncomfortable to watch as a customer. On another occasion, I saw her cutting and portioning cheesecakes while eating them at the same time, which felt inappropriate and unhygienic.
When I mentioned that I often have to wait unreasonable amounts of time, she responded by saying “this isn’t a fast food place” and that I should rather not come. That response was dismissive and unacceptable. Overall, the lack of professionalism and customer service makes the experience frustrating and unwelcoming, and it’s something management should seriously address.

We absolutely love this restaurant! We’ve been eating here for years and it gets better every year. The owner and employees are kind, courteous and professional. Most importantly, the food is the best Italian in the area.
