We just love El Tarasco. It is now a small chain and some are better than others. We love this one. Their food is great traditional Mexican food at at fair prices.
The place is always clean and very comfortable. You can eat there or get it to go. We like eating there. The service is just the best.
Parking is free.
All of their food is great. We love the tacos, the soft tacos give so much meat and their burritos are just stuffed with meat. We also love their guacamole and chips. They have great salsas and they have bottled drinks.
Everyone there seems happy and it is just a nice place to eat.
They also have great beans and rice. There is just nothing you won’t like there. They have a great selection.

Love this place. Always have. Their carnitas are my favorite and the flour tortillas are always delicious. I got the taco salad tonight (not on the menu) and it was perfect.

I got my order to go, but I should have stayed to eat, it’s a really nice atmosphere. I was greeted when I walked in, and the guy knew the menu inside out! I have the potato tacos and cheese enchilada a la carte. Highly recommended, especially if you are from the southwest United states, and miss Mexican food! It reminded me of home! I will definitely be eating here again, and I’ve already referred to people there, in just a few hours!

Super delicious Mexican food. Just needed to put more salt for me but prefer this way rather than too salty. Food was delivered very fast. Well visited and prbly that’s why some tables are left uncleaned, still our dirty table has immediately been taken care of as soon as we were seated. Generally, a huge thumbs up for this local.

As a non-meat eater, the potato tacos are amazing and delicious at El Tarasco. They cube real potatoes and skillet fry them. Add cheese and lettuce and these are some of the best potato tacos around. Factor in the fresh salsa and good chips, along with nice employees, and this is a El Segundo gem. FYI- there are many El Tarasco’s around. This review is only for El Tarasco in El Segundo.

Best Mexican food in LA! We’ve been looking for a staple for a while now, and we finally found it! On top of the incredible food (we truly savored every bite), Pedro was an incredible waiter. He went out of his way for our little one, bringing out a less spicy option compared to the salsa for her, getting us a high chair, and making sure we were aware of kids options. The food was prompt, very affordable, and simply delicious. The environment was enjoyable. We will be going back!

It’s a hidden gem, the most delicious authentic Mexican dish that we ever experienced.
We had carnitas plates with creamy tasty beans , , , and shrimp fajita plates. Also served with fresh salsa and chips. We can’t wait to go back to try other dishes. Highly recommend!

Great food, large portion & price is reasonable. So far everything I tried tasted great. Place gets really crowded so we normally gets here within an hour after they opened. This is my 7th year coming to this location, drove 37 miles for brunch today. I was recommended by a person who’s been coming here for almost 40 years, lol!!! My favorite are their fish & shrimps soup, tostada chips & salsa. Please check their daily specials.
