Venue: Beside Nam Van Lake, and close to Wynn Fountain. Better view if sitting at the windows. However, non- Wynn members are not allowed getting close to the windows. Elegant decor with Italian characteristics. Fine dining setting. Comfy seats. Restrooms are next to reception within restaurant’s area. — 8.5/10
Service: Walked in at 5pm Friday. Not busy. To be seated. The receptionist was so friendly and nice to introduce everything proactively. Wynn members would be privileged to have better tables with better views. Table light are on for dinner sessions. Tap water was given and did refill later. Briefly introduced the menu. The waitress took orders at the table. Reasonable waiting time for food. — 7.6/10 (9/10 only to receptionist 5-6pm 2/11).
F&B: Italian cuisine. Normal presentation without excessive garnish. Normal portion. Pricey but acceptable.
– Bread 拖鞋包 with Butter: crispy crust. Moist inside. — 8.8/10
– Casareccie con Gamberi e Granchio, MOP 268: cooked in rich crab bisque. Very mild spicy. Not much crabmeat. Pasta was al dente. — 8/10

This is a beautiful Italian restaurant. Krysa was the waitress that served my table, she was extremely patient with my diet prefecture and restrictions paying attention to ensure that my dish is modified to my restrictions and preference. However, there were some service staff that do appear need more training on service.

Had a wonderful lunch here. The bread starter was warm and delicious. I ordered fresh pappardelle alla bolognese, and considering I was in Macau, surprisingly authentic taste and texture to both pasta and sauce as if I was in Italy, certainly the best Italian food by far I had over my 11 day Asian trip; very impressed. The four cheese pizza was also very good. The decor of the restaurant is beautiful, which makes sense being located in the Wynn hotel, with a great table side view outside, and very friendly service. Highly recommend.

We recently dined at Ristorante Il Teatro for the first time in quite a few years and enjoyed an excellent meal. This is the feature Italian restaurant at the Wynn Macao, overlooking the Performance Lake. Opening hours are 5.30-11.30pm daily (closed Mondays).
We made reservations on their website around one week prior to our meal. The restaurant communicated with us through email to confirm allergies and remind of elegant casual dress attire. We were well received upon arrival, treated excellently by host, head waiter and other staff. Service was very polite, timely and professional throughout our meal, what you’d expect at Michelin calibre restaurants.
Seating is mostly within curved leather booths, many of which face the large open windows, where you can watch the Performance Lakes shows every 15 minutes throughout your meal. This is a unique and outstanding characteristic of this restaurant that is quite impressive and memorable.
Menu is made up of expected Italian and other seasonal dishes. We ordered the Sea Bream served on artichoke cream as well as the seasonal sous-vide guinea fowl, both of which were excellently prepared with fresh ingredients, beautifully served and delicious mains. We very much enjoyed both and would gladly reorder them.
We also enjoyed the pre-meal loaf of sour dough bread served with citrus infused butter, salt flakes and sweet cherry tomatoes. A tasty amuse bouche of 24-month parma ham also preceded our mains. Worth a quick mention as well that pre-meal cocktails were well made and wines which complemented our mains just fine.
For dessert, we enjoyed both the Lemon Sorrento, a raspberry sorbet and lemon cream beautifully shaped like a real lemon. This was both neat, fun to see and a good dessert. More enjoyed was the delectable baked Amedei chocolate molten cake served with crumble and a scoop of espresso ice-cream. This was richly flavoured and indulgent.
In the end, this was an excellent all around meal at Il Teatro, a much better experience compared to our meal here 5-6 years ago. They did a great job matching solid kitchen execution with professional dining service on the evening. If this is what you expect at Il Teatro these days, this is an easy restaurant to recommend at this point in time.
